First time grower needs some advice!

Hey Rollitup,
I been scavenging the forums for awhile now to answer all of my questions but now I need some advice that is personal to my particular grow.

Info-

I am a CFL grow, with 4 150 watt (2 6500k and 2 2700k) and 4 100 watt (4 6500k)
I am a few weeks into veg, and started from seeds.

I am a soil grower.
pH levels are all pretty good, around 6.8-7.0.

The temperature ranges from high 70s to about 82 degrees (may be a point of concern).

It's a closet grow.

There are four plants, but I only have questions on two of them.

First problem- One of my plants has it's leaves curling and my first thought was that it is the heat; the thing is, none of my other plants have the same symptom. Any ideas?

Second problem- My other plant had one of my CFLs fall on it. It was a dumb mistake, but shit happens right? If someone could give me some advice about it; Should I just cut off the two affected leaves, despite their relatively healthy appearance (aside from the burns) or (as I believe I read) they will not recover so I might as well cut them loose sooner than later? The burn happened a few days ago, but I feel like it is now time to make this decision.

Thanks for the help!
NOTE: The first plant is the one with 2-3 burned leaves. The rest are the curling. Thanks again!

Nice go'n!! all looks pretty good. Nice color and structures.

Is that a temp range with lights on and off?

If that is your temp range though out the day I would say your ok. I would try and narrow that range a little but no biggie.

All should be ok with the light situation. Once I broke a main lower branch off a girl I had 1/2 way though flower....the branch was hang'n by the skin.....I took a garbage bag and tied it to the main branch...in the end she flowered about as well as similar branches and smokeeeed nice!! :eyesmoke:

Welcome to RIU!!:-o

i would just let the leaves be until the girl packs on some girth, also i have heard that ideal temp range should b 73-83 degrees , you doing good

Thanks everyone for the responses. I am responding to the curling as if it was heat stress. I'll look into the Magnesium issue though. Thanks alot!

From what I read a lack of mag.

Today, the plant is actually drooping too. I've not watered it in a few days and the soil is still moist. It wasn't drooping until today.. Is it possible it was a delayed over-watering or something and its not showing the symptoms until today or could it be something else?

Edit: Could upload pics if needed. May do so in a bit.

are you using any nutes???...cause if it was mag def it would be all over the plant.and i would just let the plants injured leaves just fall off by themselves..to avoid risk of infection

To answer the question, yes I am using fox farm nutes. I got big bloom and grow big for right now ( the veg ) and plan to use tiger bloom and big bloom when they flower.

I think Desr means disease or such. :)

I would say no big rush to add nutes other than Mag. The color looks great so ya Mag. should put you back on track.
