First Time Grow

This is my first grow. She is in a 3 gallon pot in coco. I'm going to be putting her in the ground here before too long. Any suggestions based on what you see...? Questions, Comments...? Any advice or tips would be really appreciated!! Thank you in advance.

She has already started flowering and is looking good buddy but i would be careful with transplanting once flowering has started - you might induce unwanted stunted growth, and with your buds, losing 10 - 20 days can impact on your overall yield/quality.

I would suggest either to use the 2 pots technique - Take another pot of the same size and fill it with your growing medium only at 3/4 full (make sure to include some calcium in the medium like crushed dried egg shells which your plant will need later on in the flowering stage). Then remove as much as possible from the bottom of your current pot without letting the plant drop and without damaging the tap roots. Once it is done, put the first pot in the second one that is 3/4 full - Give it a good watering and do not move the pots for a few days. Roots will grow down in the second pot. However, if she is already flowering, there will not be much additional root growth.

Or, If you have the space. and the soil in your garden, just dig a big hole and put the whole pot inside and cover it up. Before doing that repeat the above process but also add some side holes to the pot prior so roots can grow sideways too.

Good luck!

I did think about just putting the pot in the ground too. I have plenty of room in the yard to put her out there no problem. And shes been in flower for about 3-4 weeks now. I feed her every other day or every third day depending on what she looks like and if she tells me she wants more or not. Thank you for your feedback I really appreciate it!!

Will do man, I did put her in the ground yesterday. I checked her when I got up and again when I got home from work, she seems to me taking it well. No drooping leaves or other signs of stress or anger...
Do not water for a few days. The droop is stored water unable to be transpired. Let the roots move around.

Looks very nice.
And I think you should name her Steve.
Going to be close finishing in PA outside?
Good luck!

I will post pictures up of her later when I get a chance but I just need some input/advice. I started noticing a few of the leaf tips turning a slight brown color a few weeks ago. I figured maybe I had just mixed her nutrients a little too strong... so I let her be for a few days before I fed her again and I scaled back the nutrients a tad bit thinking that would be the end of it. Well it slowly started to get a little worse. I went out there today and I have seen a noticeable change in her leaves. The tips are a dark brown, and curling up on some of them, and there has been an uptick in the brown leaves as of late. I'm thinking maybe Potassium deficiency...? Any advice or comments are appreciated. Could it maybe be getting worse because of stress from the transplant... or maybe because she is starting to flower and needs more of something that I'm not giving her....?

I doubt it would be from a deficiency. Did you notice whether the leaf tip (i understand it is just the tip), turns yellow before turning brown/burnt? Burnt leaf tips normally happen from excess of nutes and the . Leaves do not normally recover from them once burnt, but the question here is whether more of the leaves are getting burnt or it is staying at just the tip?

What are you currently feeding her?

I would lay off nutes for the next 2 to 3 waterings, and see if it continues getting worse.

I’m feeding her Flora Nova Bloom, SuperThrive, Beastie Bloomz, MicroNutrients, and Fish Mix (emulsion). 3 gallons usually once every other day or so.

*Update* I checked on her today, it doesn't look as if it is spreading... at least not very fast at the moment. I also noticed that the tips that are brown aren't crunchy like one would think... on the underside of the leaves they look a lot like old brown lettuce and they have the texture and consistency of old lettuce too.
