First time grow want some advice on a couple question.

Hey fellas and ladies, im going to be starting my first grow with 8 plants under a 1000w hps.

First question is- What type of soil is the best out there to give me the best results.

Second question is- Is a phUP phDown meter a must need item?

Third question is- Whats the best way to get my buds super crystaly. Im going to be growing grape god, og kuch 18, pineapple express?

Fourth question is- WHat are some of the things you do during the day like how many times do i water them and mist them?

Fifth question is- What nutruients do i use?

Final question is- Can anybody give me some great tips or secrets on this.
