First time grow....PICS and Questions!

Thanks for having such an awesome forum here! This is my first grow and I wouldn't have made it this far without all the knowledge here. Im attaching pics but I am starting to get worried. I was sure I had a female plant (2 white pistils) but now it looks like she is going hermie on me. The pics are not great but please let me know what you think and advice on what i should do!!!!!!!

I noticed that most of the questionable male growth is mostly on the lower portion and this growth appeared overnight........

OK. I know for sure that there are pollen sacks cause as I was looking it over I noticed one of leaves had a yellowish powder on it. It appears as though the pollen sacks are mainly on the lower half of the plant as I cant find any on the top 6-8 inches. I dunno............Im just frustrated now because I dont know what to do. I carefully removed as many of the pollen sacks, with tweezers, but Im sure that if it went hermie it already fucked itself, lol. Do I just let it grow and see what happens. This is my only plant right now. I have two small seedlings in another room that are quite a ways from flower yet but, I dont want to feel like I wasted my time with this one. How much longer should I have left and will a hermie make decent smoke? Is this even a hermie? I know that for the last 3 or 4 weeks all it had was the white pistils between the nodes(?) and at that time it looked like every picture of a female plant I have ever seen. Whats strange is that I just about 4 days ago put it into a bigger pot because it was getting root bound. Could that have caused this? Sorry for so many questions.......................................

Yes the transplant deff can/will have a negative effect this late in the game. The latest I would transplant a plant would be a week or so before going to 12/12, but even that's pushing it IMO. Also any light leaks that occur durring the night portion of e cycle can cause seeds to form in an otherwise female plant. Some strains are more suceptable than others.

How long have you had the lights 12/12? Heavy indica 8-10 wks and heavy sativa 10-14 wks. You've smoked hermi pot before, all the seeded up comercial is hermi either from por conditions polnation light at night etc. Also beasters is hydro grown hermi pot. The less stress you hive this plant til the end will ultimately detrmine the smoke quality. Make it dark and get the conditions optimal.

okay buddy i am a newer grower too but i know alot of things about sexing the plants and just growing itself, except for all the diseases thats intense shit lol, your best best is to put it straight into flowering right now, becuase if its your only plant your only problem if it was a hermie is you have to say fuck it and pull the hermie out and clean the grow room and start over. but if not then you will know its female and it will grow buds, your only problem it seems hermaphadite. sorry.

OK well, I think she/he, lol, is going to be alright. I went and took a cutting to clone her and the clone is rooting well so far. Do clones of hermie plants usually end up being hermie or do they end up being one sex? I took a cutting of a lower branch that did not show any signs of male sexing and transplanted, misted well and then put a ziplock bag over the container and within 24 hours it was already rooting. Once this one roots well then I will transplant it into a 3-5 gallon container and just leave her alone basically. I think that is what caused my problem is that about a week before it went hermie I had transplanted it into a bigger pot because it was getting root bound.

Any other advice for what I should be doing now????? Up until now I haven't been using nutes because the soil/perlite had nutes in it. Should I be using nutes now and what kind /how much? I'll take some more picks later.

For those that are wondering I am using:

1 - 17 watt fluorescent tube grow light - 4200k
2 - 26 watt cfl - 100 watt equivalent - 6500k
1 - 20 watt cfl - 75 watt equivalent - 2700k
small fan
yeast/sugar co2 generator
soil is miracle grow potting mix - added perlite to mix
The water I use is boiled first to get rid of chlorine and impurities

OK, but will it still be worth keeping through the rest of flowering? Will it just be seedy or will it not be very potent?

When a plant goes hermie does it end up just making it real seedy or does it lower the thc levels drastically? Like I said before the top half of the pant is not showing signs of being male. Should I completely remove any growth, entire branches included, that shows any signs of being male.

Your clone will be a hermie and so will everything you ever grow from it. That's my two cents after reading enough to make my eyeballs bleed on here and in books.
