First time grow, 3 weeks old please tell me if i should start training

First post, first grow.

I have 3 plants okc in 3.6 gal air pots ffof
4x4x7ft
480w Qb
Three weeks old today.
Thinking I should start training soon, but not sure if I should be topping these bushes or let them go a bit longer?View attachment 4761500View attachment 4761500

Damn those are some indica dom looking leaves. If it was me id top em now.

Tried to clean up the post but ended up deleting pictures instead. Lol

When to top, if topping, is really up to you. But for me, if I top at the 4th node I wait until the plant gets to 6 nodes, then I top at the 4th node, so the nodes below the 4th node have a chance to catch up to the 4th node. And if I am topping at the 5th node I wait until the plant gets to 7 nodes, then I top at the 5th node, so the nodes below the 5th node have a chance to catch up to the 5th node. I am lazy, I am not into training, all I want to do by 6 weeks is get all the secondary nodes even, so I end up with a nice even canopy with 10 to 12 main tops, that will all by their sleves turn into 20 to 24 tops, then I flip them. I like doing it that way because the max I want to tie up a single grow is 110 days!

Topped them just above the 4th node.
