First time flowering

Hey all! It is my first time getting plants this far and will be my first time flowering so thought I’d start a journal and share the progress and results. These ladies are about 5 weeks into Veg. They are both bag seeds in 2.5 gal pots. FF Happy Frog soil. For nutes I am using Dr Earth HomeGrown and will be feeding Dr Earth Flower Girl. Using tap water, water til runoff. They are under a Chinese knockoff QB 240W LED in a 2x4x5 tent. These ladies have been through it this grow: N Tox, bad watering schedule, heat. So I am happy they made it this far and will be happy with any yield I get. They haven’t had nutes in 3 weeks, only water, trying to get past the N tox. I have been told I might have gotten an “activated” batch of HF and that’s why I’m having Toxicity issues. Will be flipping in about two weeks. Any comments or advice are welcomed! Thanks for reading!

Thanks! When do you think it would be wise to start feeding the flower nutes? Like I said they’ve both had some Tox issues so they have had nothing but water the past three weeks.

Gorgeous plants. As mentioned, they already look real heavy on nitrogen (dark green), although the new growth is getting there. I’d give them a water or three without nutes, and then slowly start feeding bloom after first week of flower. Nitrogen tox sucks as you’ve experienced it, better to be sure.

What are you using to measure your nutrient EC going in?

Thanks. Forgive my lack of knowledge but what do you mean by EC? I have a PH meter for my water. The liquid nutes I’ll be feeding you apply directly to soil then water within 24hrs.

Any reason why I might be getting yellowing on the leaves?

Flipped everything this evening. They will get 22 1/2 hrs of darkness then on the 12/12 schedule. Turned light up to full power and lowered to 15-16in above plant. Dehumidifier on. 2nd fan put in for extra circulation.

Here they are after initial dark period. New growth looks super light. When would y’all suggest I start feeding flower nutes?

Looking good m8. Still a lot of dark green. I'd leave it a little longer. Or maybe dilute it dwn a lot.. But iam a new b 2. So that's only what I would do. I could be so far off the mark. But up to you really.. Gl m8.. Ps some good growers on here with good n reliable info.

Agreed that they look nice, but they deseved 2 more weeks on veg IMO...
Man I know. These were already 7-8 weeks into veg and they had been under a bunch is stress. This is my first time all the way through so I’ve definitely learned a ton for my next grow

HELP: woke up to this. What happened?!?!
