First time doing lst. Please help! Need advice

heres a pic of the first tie down.

this is about 2 and a half weeks after the first tie.

heres about 4 weeks into tieing down. ( where im at right now) please if anyone has any pointers or tips please let me know. this is my first time trying lst and im only going off what i read online..

Dude your doing great!!! I LST in 5gal bubble buckets and we both got some bushy ladies. Long as your reading books, stuff online and watching videos ur good. One thing i would say is dont be scared to tuck fan leaves or supercrop them to expose more potential budsites

Those plants look fantastic, thats exactly the way they should be growing.

They look great nice & healthly! Just one thing which can be helpful... I put up white plastic on walls for reflective purposes. And saucers underneath cause the pots will sucks up the drain off nicely. Wow must say u r doing a great job, what strain & what soil u using or nutes if any? +reps bro. Peace & happy Gardening.

thanks everyone. this is great feedback. the 3 little girls in the back are grape ape and the one in the front that looks differnt then the other two is called dharma and the other two are sweet island skunk. they are potted in happy frog soil. and the nutrient line im using is a 6 part formula called cutting edge solutions and i also use a microzial mix called great white. this is my 4th grow ever.

I start mine at about 5 nodes, or about 6 inches, and use paper clips under the edge of the pot and hook it over. Shit works too well, it still blows my mind how they respond, it's almost like grafting a whole new plant on to the one you already have.

I agree with ya coco. You got ur ladies from clones bro? Grape ape or purple wreck is what i have been HUNTING for! Cant find them @ any seed banks.

i got them from a medical collective service.. they are from clone. i also got some seeds wich are REAL G13 and purple diesel X sage

Plants are looking awesome man, very healthy! One thing I would recommend is using LST until you have the exact number of colas you want and then start growing them straight up. As it grows taller, trim off every secondary branch or growth node that will not be part of the main cola until all you have is X amount of colas about 12 inches high and with the about 6-8 inches of growth nodes. This way the plant wont waste energy growing popcorn nugs or secondary colas. Once you start flowering your bush should be well airated and will only have main colas to develope making them much fatter and more dense. I only use LST when I grow and one issue I have had was the plants being so dense they developed mold. If you only keep 10-12 main colas and cut all secondary growths off you shouldnt have this problem. Yeah my plants are all clones, I like to take it so the base of the plant will end up having a node coming right out of it, then I lst the rest of the clone down, and let that little node turn into a seperate top branch, and then it all gets crazy from there on.
