Ditto- it also decreases the weight making it more likely to stay upright.I would recommend at a minimum cutting them in half to minimize transpiration and also redirect the energy from leaf growth to root growth.
Just Checked on them, finally one has the starting of a root!!! I went a little light on the clone solution at first I'm probably gonna put some more in itBy time stamp of posts, it's been 9 days. Everything I've read says at least 10-14. It took mine about 3wks but I just threw them into some root cubes with Olivia's gel. No humidity control and 24hrs of light. Sit tight and give them a few more days.
this is a hard guide to follow, keeping a room 20c with a 600w mh on and its cold for the plants in veg at 20c and would cost over £10 to root the clones with just the eletrica I would useI have followed this route and have had 100% success for quite sometime.

Sorry never saw the part about the 600w. I've used a 400w in the past in winter for the heat. Personally I don't care about the power bill, I just want healthy clones.this is a hard guide to follow, keeping a room 20c with a 600w mh on and its cold for the plants in veg at 20c and would cost over £10 to root the clones with just the eletrica I would use
I use a storage box with a 8w t5 tube screwed to the under side of the lid and leave it in a cupboard for 10 days
just open the box once a day and give them a quick spray, give them some water on the 3-4 day and they root in 7-10 day never had one die
lol 600w mh to root a few clones
