This is my 5th generation crop
temp 77-84deg
hum 25-35%
Shelf area 5'2"x 31"
Current Lighting: 12 x 150w Cfls
so i started out with about 105 sprouted seeds
at that point i transferred all of them into soil and we got about 80-85 seeds that popped out the soil:hug:

Where are the seeds from?

I did Blueberry from Dutch Passion once and got almost 2lbs from 6 plants under 1000watts.

How many watts are those CFL's each? I've never seen that style in 105w. 12 lights @ 105 watts. You could switch to 2 600w HPS bulbs and get way more light with less electricity.

I'm subscribing to this thread. I love blueberry. If you really have good blueberry genetics and treat the plants good you can end up with some 1+ ounce colas.

so its been about 2-3 weeks and i transplanted the faster growers from the slower ones. but i've noticed that the slower growing ones' lower leaves are yellowing and a few of them developed necrosis on the lower leaves. what could be the problem?

the seeds are from my weed connect's qp. he said is was a hermie. they're definately homogenous. you can tell from the shap of the leaves and the way they fold. if i use liter bottles and water gal. how tall will they get before they max? i cannot fix one light to cover the whole gr. what bout 3 150w hps? i've got 12 150W(total emittage) cfls

I wanted to sex them early(like the third node) so i dont waste growing space on males. i want to maximize area so i'm going to fim them once they're sexed. scrog but that's too much fuckin work. i'm wondering if this plant is too young to sex. this is one of the biggest of the crop.

I used 1 gallon pots on my BB's and grew them about 1.5' before flowering. The ended up about 2.5-3X larger by the end of flower. The colas got big and I had to use strings to support the branches and keep them from falling over.

If you can, go 3x250w HPS bulbs. Run them in connected cool tubes and use 1 fan to cool all of them.

I misread your posting. I didn't know you meant all of your CFL's only totalled 150w.

It looks like your grow space is long and narrow. Consider a 400w HPS and a light mover.

damn i'm gonna need to get some money lol. what was the yeild on each plant? because my flowering room isn't as big as the veg i was going to try and throw a new plant into flowering every 5 days so wen they're done flowering each plant will be bigger than the next

i meant each light gives off 150 watts(from what it says on the package). i've already looked into a 4 foot auxilary rail for my flowering room. shouldn't be that hard to fine a 5' one. although i dont have a top on the shelf. just sheets raped over it

i could be wrong but i think you will find thats 150 watt equivalent bulbs which is what they put in big writing on the packaging to confuse everyone.

So, 150 watts x 12 lights? 1800 watts?

Either you misread the specs or you're using an insane amount of CFL power. I think you misread the specs

I found your lights online I think. The 40 and 42 watt CFL's are advertised as 150 watt equivalent sometimes.

So it looks like you have between 480-504 watts of light, not 1800 watts.

You could switch to 2-250 watt HPS bulbs and get way more light at no added electricity cost. 250HPS bulbs don't run too hot either so you shouldn't have a problem with heat.

fuck!:cuss: that sucks. i heard hps use more kilowatts tho but probably less than all the cfls i got. when i fuck around with my light and i turn like 9 on at once you hear a loud pop and a little smoke comes out the socket:eyesmoke: i just transplanted all my plants out of those little cups i think the lower leaves were turning yellow because they were root bound. the smallest cup they're in now is 16oz.

HID's have a better lumen to watt ratio than CFL's.

I read on RIU 65 lumen average per watt on CFL's and 107 lumens on HPS.
CFL (500 watts)=32,500 lumens
HPS (500 watts)=53,500 lumens
