New Member here! Been lurkin for awhile but finally signed up to ask some questions. First off the info on here is top notch for sure, gotta give everyone props for that. I am setting up a dwc system and it is my first hydro setup so I wanted to run what I was planning by you guys and see what you thought, and what suggestions you have. I have a 18 gallon Rubbermaid tub, a 60 gallon duel outlet aquarium pump, 2 12" airstones on the bottom with 2 of the little 29 cent airstones split off the lines and suction cupped on the sides just below the water level, 1 1/2" rock wool cubes, Those clay pellets, 5" baskets, CFL's for veg, 400 watt hps for flower, and Fox Farm 3 part nutrients. My space is roughly 2 1/2' wide by 3' tall by 3 1/2' Long with three coats of flat white paint. It's a slanted ceiling so I can probably gain a little more height. Sorry this was so long winded.

I have practically everything you have. Even the same nutes and DWC container. Do you have a digital ph, ppm meter? 3 ft tall is kind of sketchy though, your looking at 2 foot with just the dwc container. Any contingency plan when the plants get bigger?

I have another closet that is at least 7 feet tall but I think it would be a pain to get the thing light tight, and my venting options in the small one are way better. But you do what you gotta do right? Maybe I will use the small one as a veg closet. How many plants do you have in yours SmokerE?

4 plants. I could probably do more and will, SOG it this time. Just a heads up I had a little trouble with the heat in a 7x3 space. It got better once i got an inline fan with carbon filter. Still was pretty high in temp till the plants got a decent canopy.

Thanx for the heads up on the heat. I think I figured out how to seal my bigger closet from light so thats a go, gonna just build a false door inside the real one I think. I still need to buy a ppm meter though. What strength do you run your nutes at throughout your cycle SmokerE? And I was at the pet store today for my saltwater tank and saw some sort of in tank C02 generator for live aquarium plants. Would this work for my purpose or do my plants need the C02 directly on their leaves? Again, thankyou for the help you guys.
