First pic of my first plant!

I started germinating 8 days ago, and this is what it looks like now! Its my first time growing and my first plant as well, Does it look ok? ! I've been putting it outside during the day, and bringing it in overnight. Thanks guys!

give it as much sun as possible. i do the same by outside during day and inside at night. the night humidity here is so high i'm always worrying about mold. looking good! on with the grow!!! GL
 
Awww, lookin the little seedling.
Dragons right, you need some more perlite in that mix to ensure adequate root zone oxygenation.
When you transplant in a month, pick up some Light warrior if you lazy and have some extra cash.
If neither are the case, its far more economical to just cut some FFoF or even MG if your strapped for $$ with a cheap bag of perlite, 30%.
 
yeah, wait a few week`s in the mean time get a nice bigger pot, with a lot of nice drain holes in the bottom, I prefer plastic or grow bag`s not ceramic

and add about 20% perlite, when watering, water til you get a bit of run off and then give it time to dry out a bit, MJ don't like to stand in wet soil all the time (hence the perlite and good drain hole`s)

can you add a normal household CFL bulb above it maybe ? for extra light doing the evening
 
Yea, im sure I could! I have a spare one lying around, i believe its 13w though, is that not enough? And how far should I keep it away from the plant?
 
13W CFL, should be around 2-4 inch`s away from the top of the plant, I like to keep mine at 4" and let em grow up at 2" before I move the lamp/plant agin

remember once it get less the 12 hours day/light it will begin to flower, and remember once it flower it need total darkness doing dark hours (bathroom/closed/spare room/small tent)
 
What if i kept it in the sun during the day and under the cfl throughout the night? is that too much light at this stage? thanks again guys!
