First PC Grow Box

I was only intrigued at the sight of someone growing from a Computer tower... Serious Props is to be given. Me, I couldn't help it but to go with it and try this "trend."
It took way longer than expected, but then again, It's my first time.. These are normal bag seeds, but they were some pretty potent mids. However, I did acquire two Citrus Purp seeds today. I am currently germinating them. I can't wait for them to sprout. I just dread the day they both just happen to be male... That would be a total bummer... But does anyone know how they grow? Indica/Sativa? Specifics on the strain would be most helpful.

Any who, I have some pics of the box. But I would seriously like some in put!! Anything to help me along. I mean it's most helpful to have some CONSTRUCTIVE Criticism. Agreed?

Just to clarify something to some of you smart asses... The boxers in the first picture isn't covered in Poop dust, It's just normal ole dust.. Soon there after, they were washed.

Hey dude,

Glad to hear about the poop dust..lol

Ihaven't really checked out his kind of setup before but it doesn't seem to leave much space for the plant to grow.

Is that a full tower case or mid?

I'm thinking you would have to start 12/12 from seed...lots of LST, TLC and maybe some LSD...

Did you keep a case fan for air flow?

I'm curious to see how this turns out, subscribed.

Good luck

heeeeeeeeeeeyy tg,

so checkin out your box. got a couple things that might help ya. make the intake as low as possible and use that bigger fatter fan for exhaust and keep it mounted high in the case. i think you said that you lined with mylar correct? and as for that poop dust.....gross dude hahaha kidding. and what are those blue bottles, joint juice? never heard of it. you will have to do some extensive lst if you are growing a normal photoperiod strain in the case. i chose an autoflower last time becuase of height constraints and still did lst. but yea man ill be here for the grow. o get a temp gauge and check out your temps.

peace dude

ok after lookin at the pics again you have 2 fans mounted low, uncover those fromt he mylar and use them both as intake fans and use both fans up top for exhaust.

peace

i think you could use another 2 CFL's, they have splitters at home depot for like 2 bucks that you can attach two bulbs in a V shape straight into the socket... it will help a lot, looks good though, i'll follow up throughout your grow. Also don't forget a thermometer, temperature is a huge factor too. good luck

read up on LST, it'll get your bud sites lots of light and room for air circulation as well as space... and watch out for spider mites, if you find a lady bug let it live inside your case through the flowering stage, it wont hurt the plants but will kill any unwanted insects.

Okay okay.. So I keep hearing about this "LST" What the hell does that mean!?!?! Everyone is saying it, I feel like the HardTard in the far back corner that's left in the dark about the "cool" thing to do..

Crazytrain14: There are only Three fans now.. The lower one on the left side, and the two top ones. The lowest fan is blowing in, the top left fan is blowing in, and the top right fan is blowing out. The exhaust fan is the larger one, I planned on making a carbon filter to fit around it. I'll need one sooner than later. Also, the Joint Juice is a fitness water. It it really good for you joints. I used to fight semi professionally, then I wrecked my motorcycle and fucked it up. So I'm STILL trying to recover.. two years later.. That's actually why I started smoking to begin with. I just never understood quite what I was missing.

Khemist49: Well they are two 27watt lights. I figured they were enough? They give off enough heat as is, and i believe Four total lights might be a little too much heat to control for such a small area? Maybe I could add some 13watt 2700k bulbs? They are smaller, and give off less heat. I currently have 5500k in there. Oh and I do have a Thermometer, and a Hydrometer. They are in the pictures... lol! on top of the Joint Juice. ;)

shit man i just typed out a long response to your question about lst and i got logged off so it didnt pop up lol now to retype it

lst stands for low stress training. that means bending the main stem and tying it down so the bottom branches all grow up and make an even canopy instead of just one top bud, its a better use of light and will make the lower branch buds fill out more. check out my grow and you can see like 2 weeks into it i did it to mine. or go read the faq page on lst. pretty simple, just use a string or a twist tie and bend em over. hope that helps

peace

Thank you so much Crazytrain! I just kinda felt like i was in the dark for a while on that.. lol! I've been considering doing just that anyways! I just didn't know what it was called.. So about how many nodes should exist before bending her over like that?

Well in this little tower, In those 6inch pots, I can only fit two plants in it right now. I've been thinking of going for something a little deeper? Not as wide.. but that will limit my maximum height of the plants.. But It all depends on the size of the tower.

I didn't picture it in the first shot. But you can notice it, In the second and third picture. I saw some random video on Ebay, it was some dude growing with LED's, and it gave me a good idea. Use some Mylar below the little sprouts, to reflect the light, It could only help right? If anyone can think of a bad reason to do this. Let me know.

Hey Hey,

Lights look a lot better the way you have em now. More space to grow and better lighting from side :)

It almost looks like you could seal the bulbs and have a coolish tube going in there....not sure how well it would work...guess that depends on the amount of heat that is radiating from the lights.

Cheers,

Well SilverSerf, There isn't that much heat radiating off the lights. I have the fan on the far left blowing in and the one of the right blowing out. So the circulation of the air is going right around the lights, pulling most of the heat out. It seems to be working, Quite well actually.

Palehawaiian: That's actually what I've been thinking of doing. How much do you sell them for? I have a few buds that would like one.

chb444220: Thanks man, I appreciate it.
