hello all! first a little about my grow history. so im not totaly new to growing, when i was in my highschool days i had a small 2 plant cfl grow in my parents house with no nutrients and got almost an ounce of dried bud, and believe me i was sooo stoked one that. my next grow was when i got my first house and i used 2 250w hps and some regular miracle grow from the local walmart and ended up with nearly 8 ounces of dried weed, and again i was really happy with the yeild and thought i was like some sort of pro.... anyways its been a few years since my last grow and i decided a little while ago to get it going again but outdoors this time. so i went ahead and picked up 20 clones from a friend who grows for a living, hiked around in the bush for a few days and found the perfect spot, good sunlight for most of the day and a water source close by. I put the plants in the ground a week ago and have checked on them one time since then and they have grown about 4" give or take abit. anyways i'm kind of wondering what else i can do now besides making sure they have water. i am kind of intrested in what nutrients i should give them and when i should do that. also, is mid-late june to late to plant them and expect a good yield? the area i live in is the perfect climate for growing weed(very similar to california, just north of the border) so i think they should be ok. and if people think its not to late i might get another 10 or 20 clones to put out. so ya in anyone has any opinions or any input at all feel free to express yourself, i'de be more then happy to hear it. o and i'll get some pics next time im out at the field.

Also consider if animals are going to eat your plants , I used chicken wire fences last year around each plant , this year I bought a 500m roll of barbed wire and going to make a fence around all my plants using trees as fence posts . What sort of soil do your plants have and how big are there holes?

funny you mentioned animals, i've bin worried about the deer in the area so today after work i got 2 50m rolls of this chicken wire looking stuff but its a really strong plastic and over the weekend i plan on making a fence around each group. there planted in holes about the size of a 5 gallon bucket that i filled with cheap soil that was only about 3$ a bag so i'm assuming its not the best soil but its better then nothing. the plants are about 3 or 4 feet apart and in 3 groups, one with 10, one with 4 and the other with 6 plants. and the dirt when i plants seams to be really good soil, theres no rocks in it and it had the odd worm digging around when i was planting th clone. actually that leads me to another question. are the worms going to eat the clones roots? or are they a welcomed guest like in a veggie garden?
