ok so iam going to do my first outdoor grow in texas. so i was wanting to know some things. could i make a auto watering system for my plants cause it is going to get real hot here real soon and i dont want to be back and forth with water every week i was thinking somthing like a 20 gallon barrel with a hole cut in the bottom of the barrel with a hose attached to a mechanical sprinkler timer with a drip manifold and drippers to each plant think it would work ? got a better idea ? please give me some advice on this auto watering subject i will be growing probley 5-6 ak47s
