First grow

Hi all, I have been around a very experienced grower for some time now. This is my first time growing myself since he gave me some seeds. I believe it's week 4 and have a few questions!

I don't have access to any special equipment for growing and am planning on planting out side once the time is right, what's the best way to grow my plants during the vegative stage indoors!

One of my plants have just started growing its second pair of leafs but the first pair are starting to sag, any suggestions? ( I'll post pictures after)

These are all different plants, all germinated and planted same time. Same amount of light, water, nutrients, etc. The two are pretty good besides the leafs sagging on one. The other is pathetic though.

If I were you I would transplant these up to their cotyledon leafs and put them outside now.

You do have good grow equipment: Soil and Sun

Given that you're probably working with CFL's you're just stunting yourself by keeping these inside when they could be out getting lots of sun and getting big. You won't be able to harvest for another four to five months anyways, so why not?

Glad to have you on board Lusciousowner. All kinda depends on which way you wanna go. I personally prefer the organic direction for a couple reasons. Not smoking any chemicals, and organic pot is a much nicer high!!

A good organic seedling mixture is 1/3 ewc, 1/3 peat moss and 1/3 perlite. Add a bit of oyster shell flour and your set.

One problem that a lot of newbies have is overwatering their seedlings. Those girls need as much oxygen as possible, and if you are overwatering, you are drowning them. Talking from experience myself. The roots have to go searching for the water. I now pick my solo cups up, and if they feel light, then I water them with rain water.

Keep at it, it's kinda cool!!!
