I have 4 lovely plants coming up nicely and I have this lamp fueling them:

Cool Sun Reflector - 6" |

I have a 400w HPS lamp in it and atm its in my closet and they are being cooled by my room A/C.

I plan to move them to my garage attic this weekend and I need to buy a 6" fan + exhaust stuff, thats where I am lost. What exactly do I need to be looking to get?

Thanks for yall's help.

eBay Seller: thepoolspaguy: HVAC, 6 ELICENT INLINE DUCT FAN EXHAUST BLOWER HYDROPONIC items on eBay.com

this is an idea of what you want. Check your local HVAC suppliers, they may be cheaper but you need to know what your after. Local hydroponic stores will have everything you need as well but they are expensive. Most hardware stores sell ducting and abs or pvc piping. Piping or plastic conduit is rigid, smooth and moves more air than the coil duct. you can get rigid ducts in steel and aluminum as well. with only 400 watts you can use whatever you want

dont use the plastic ducting with an air cooled lamp shade though. You can use the plastic conduit for exhaust but not reccommended for use in cooling the lamp shade.

you need to know your room size to start. widht x depth x hight = cfm you will need for a fan. 6 inch fan of course and filter with the correct cfm for you fan.
make sure your ac is good, the attick is probably pretty dam hot, depending on your season
