First Grow.. Very New!!!!

Whats up guys i am very new to this forum and i will try to get pics on here as i figure out how but i am just wanting to post stuff and yall let me know if im doing it right or not. So i got the right lighting and i got a pace of about 3' by 3' by 2'. I am pretty sure it is enough apace for what im trying to do. I have 5 plants starting i germinated and just put in the soil yesterday and already some are sprouting out. It has good ventilation with a fan place in a cut square out of the cardboard walls. The cardboard walls and the floor have aluminum foil taped all around. The temperature stays at about 75 constantly and the humidity at about 40. i am gonna grow all plants to there max height leaving about 35 to 40 percent room left for flowering and i hope to be done in no longer than three months!:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::hump:

you post pics by pressing reply and then going to the bottom of the page and choosing advanced options. attachments is one of the options.

aluminum foil is a big no no - it creates hot spots on leaves resulting in burning. mylar or white paint is the way to go.

you could really use more height in your set up. with the lights taking up 6" - 12" and the pot taking up the same, you hardly have any room for the plant.

you can finish a plant in 3 months if you go without veg but normally expect 4 - 5 months seed to dried and cured product.

hey man you should really go with cfl lights daylight spec for veg and soft white for flower if you have that kind of setup its worth it you get more light output or somthing like that. the lights you have are not really recommended for growing just look through the site for a while you should be able to find some info on what to do. and it's true aluminum foil does create hotspots. as for your soil containers what are you using or going to be using and what kinda soil.

Im using miracle gro in a little cup when they develop a stem im gonna switch soil and container and maybe even grow room. by the way two of the bulbs are cfl lights and one soft one with the bluish green shade. i have really good ventilation and it stays really cool so im hoping i wont have to worry about hot spots. Ill update good pictures soon.

ight man i'll subscribe i'm on my first grow too but have come a long way with mine and picked up a few knowledgeable things throughout the grow so i'll tryn help if I can.

not as good as an hps but cfls are fine just remeber 6700k veg 2700k flower and i use foil for my reflecter and i don't really see anything wroung with it becuase im poor and can't afford mylar or polar stuff i would just go buy an emergancy blanket the cheap ones from walmart they work good seen many people use them if your poor like me i like to mix them have some 6700k and the majority 2700k when im flowerin a mix is always nice and you do know your light sceduals and you can't have light leaks during flowering I didn't really think little light leaks would hurt becuase i mean the plants have the moon but i guess im wroung so makeing it light proof is a must just take 2 cereal boxes put them together after you cut holes them them then put that over your intake or w/e good little trick for cheapo's like me

yeah man its completely light proof i made sure of it so it would be hiddin at night while the lights on. my light schedule right now is 18 on 6 off and ill hit it on 12 12 when they are ready and hopefully ill get some bud to smoke.

why would you want to? just keep it 18/6 until you wanna flower then give it 24 hours of dark then start your 12/12 you don't gotta give it 24 hours of dark it just helpes say hey it's flowering time o and go to lowes and make sure you got the right cfls post up some more pics so we can see what u got going and i use Mg so if you can't get any jacks or anything like that mg is fine

If your talking about food spikes that you put into the dirt those are for outdoor plants and you will prolly burn the shit outa your gals if you use it
