First Grow - Top of plant leaning & leaves folding over!

Hey all this is my first grow and im having a problem w/ one plant, but here's a little background info. I am doing 3 THC bomb in 5 gallon buckets topped off with FFOF in a 8' x 2.5' closet. I am using fox farms nutes as well, following the instructions on the bottles. My light is a 400W MH/HPS and my girls are 1 -1.75 ft tall and have been under 12/12 for 1 week now. The tallest stretched significantly more than the other two for some reason, but all 3 plants have the same number of leaf sets.

Sometimes, big momma's ~top 3-4 inches bend over and its leaves fold up. This seems to happen mainly when I turn the light on in the morning. They have not been "burnt" yet as they are still green. When I see this leaning I loosely tie a rope from the plant's stem to the shelf above it until she's good to stand on her own again.

I have been raising the light a little bit everyday and have kept it about 1 ft from the tallest plant. The doors are open for the plant to breathe during the plant's night time (a timeframe of midnight - 12pm). I do not have a fan, but the plant has a sturdy base - just the top leans.

My questions: What am I doing wrong? Is my plant "stressed" and will my yield suffer?

Thanks for any/all input. :weed:
