first grow success!

planted seed Aug 10th, switched to flowering schedule Sept. 10th, am curruntly 3 weeks into flowering and growth is amazing. though the plant that is growing in the soil looks way better than the three in the hydro set-up. Its straighter, not as spindly and out of control looking, and is slightly farther along budding wise than the others, much more trichrome development. The picture that is a close up of the cola is from the soil plant. the close up of the cola with the pistils looking slightly brown is from the hydro.

a few things about my set-up.
ebb and flow, with 15 minute on/15 min drain cycles pots filled with hydroton and nothing elsei use floranova (grow) a single airstone in the reservoir of 30 gal. 400 watt HPS, aluminum covered walls, three plants in the hydro set-up and one plant in soil(miracle Gro)

I'm looking to harvest around oct. 29th, seven weeks after i induced flowering. Whether they are ready or not, i gotta harvest because im moving a couple days after that!!

If anyone has thoughts, suggestions or comments, please lay em on me! much appreciated!

i was wondering about that, i have had the foil up for the last 7 weeks though and i just noticed the browing today. wasn't there yesterday, and its the dull side of the foil, you really think that could be it?

Hey that tin foil saying is a buncha crap. I did my last grow, and 1st, with the back side of tin foil, and the front. No burn anytime during the grow. Of course My next grow will have mylar. Its hard to say but it looks like the hairs are just starting to turn red or purple. Id need to be there with a 30 or 40x scope. Could also be nutes or water issue but seriously doubt that. But Ill be watching to see what the real experts say bout it.
