First grow! Questions about flowering

hey guys I'm growing for my first time here in Colorado. I've done a ton of research but still not totally sure when it's harvest time. My plants are 2-3 weeks in flower, I believe it takes 6-7 weeks to complete this stage? I'm also worried they are out growing their pots AGAIN. I shouldn't trans plant them at this stage right? I'll post some photos and would love any advice! I've grown these from seeds so I don't have a mother plant to base any genetics or grow time on.

So this is bagseed then? Growing out of their pots? What size pots are they in? What makes you think they are outgrowing them? Harvest time doesn't necessarily go by weeks but rather the color of the trichomes. Amber is the preferred color but some harvest when milky. I believe this has to do with THC levels. From what I understand amber is more couch-lock and milky is more of a Sativa high.. Correct me if I am wrong. I am a newbie too but this is information I have gathered thus far.

Yes I actually had some fantastic smoke and wondered what would happen if I tried to plants the seeds. Everything has gone exceptionally well and I only had one male!! They are in about four gallon size pots right now. Before I knew when I needed to transplant because the plants would slow on growing, needed to be water more frequently and if it went too long the plants started to turn a light green/yellow at the bottom. Most of the plants are taller than i am so im guessing they're over 5'7. Is it normal for fan leaves to start turning yellow quickly while in flower? Should take them off or leave them alone? I'm having a hard time posting pictures.. I know that will help if I can get them to upload.

weeks mean nothing. And depending on if it is sativa or indica can mean a months difference in harvest times. If you don't have a jewelers scope to check the trychomes from the calyx then the old rule to cut is when all of the pistils have turn dark.
Yellowing does happen when in flower because the plant is pulling nitrogen out of the leaves. But if a lot of yellowing is happening to them no its not good. If there is a lot of yellowing give it a small dose of plant food with nitrogen in it.
Don't pull the yellow leaves off until the leaf is dead. You can tell by if you pull on it gently and if it comes off easily it's done. If it doesn't leave it.
good luck.

No. Never 6-7 weeks flower. Expect 10-11 weeks and be happy if it finishes in 8-9.
