Hey, first grow, really decided to do it properly, went way over budget, couldn't care less, haha.
I have 4 females from 6 seeds that came from a female I acquired who was just loaded in seed. Anyway, I don't know the strain, they're under a 600w mh right now. And they're 6 weeks old today pretty much.
Are they ok? Stretching? I'm in a 4x4, but I've heard they're gonna explode when I switch. They've been bent over, and have lots of shoots coming up. I have a few rooted clones from the 2 better plants. 3 are in fabric 3 gallons, my best, in a 5 smart pot. Should I up pot to 5 gallon from 3 or is it worth it?

Anything you guys got would be appreciated. Learning quick, but that's how you form bad habits, lol.

I posted the pictures a bit below, I apologize but it wasn't working.

Yeah for real? They feel stretchy, I wish i knew what they were. They've been topped a few times, I'm planning on switching them soon
In my opinion, their nodal sites are pretty tight, considering their height and size. They are really big, though. You should probably flower shortly if you plan to keep them indoors. They are a little bit stretchy on the edges or away from the light. Probably won't matter, though.

Oh they're close. I read 8 inches but that's a joke. I'm talking one inch, sometimes touching lol. But thank you, I thought the whole branch should have been flowered I think. Or at least better then it is.

Looks like a really nice setup and looks like you're doing a great job! Using a SCROG can really help with controlling their stretch. Are you in flower already? If not it is not too late to add the SCROG.

Keep it going!

OK you've got me thinking about it now haha. How would I do it? I understand what a scrogg is, I've read is possible to start this late in my veg. I have awesome branching from my late training, but how do I set it up?
Do I build the net, and fit it to the 4 plants? Should I build a frame, and wire it once it's in place? I can see this being a big job fitting 4, 2+ foot plants through the net properly. But I'm all up for it if it can be done.
I've been afraid to flower honestly cause of the branching lol. Would i pull the the larger branching to the outside then, weaving what I could leaving the middle open?

So the way I start is by deciding the size of the SCROG, and in this case I would build it to the frame of your grow room. Then string it up. Once it is finished that is when you should place it in the grow room. Just above the top of the plants, maybe an inch above. This way they can grow up to the SCROG, allowing the tallest to get their first. Once the taller ones start poking through, you can pull them vertically so they are shorter and let the smaller branches catch up. You should definitely weave the branches out from the middle to the outside.

So getting the scrogg idea in my head , but realizing it may be a bit late getting to tie those branches without them breaking , I decided to try tomato cages . Take a look . They've really opened the middle up , but distanced the light . Opinions ?
Will this still work ? Or am I gonna end up with crap bud ? I'm gonna switch to a 600w hps in flower , running 600w mh now with some small side lights . Was thinking about dropping a bulb into the center of each plant haha :)
