Seedlings our about one week from popping out of rapid rooters. Planted directly into the final grow pot which is a 5 gal smart pot. Using a pro mix all purpose mix with added perlite and vermiculite. Just using well water with no added nutrients so far. Water is natural ph of 6.7 and has a ppm of 300. I am running a 600 watt mh light with cool tube. Tent is averaging about 73 to 78 with a humidity of 49 to 60. Plants seem to be healthy so far. One has a slight lighter tint towards center of plant and leaves but still putting on new smaller leaves with no issues.

So far the ladies seem happy and growing. Roughly 10 days since breaking ground in pots. I haven't added any nutes as of yet. Just straight well water, I haven't ph down the water. Running lights on a 20/4 schedule, about 12 inches off top of plants. I haven't watered in 3 days. Top few inches drying out and around side of pots as well. Trying to force rap root and roots to seek water in the bottom of the 5 gal pots to strengthen root system. I have the general hydroponics flora series and calimag for nutrients. Plan to hold out starting nutrients for another few days to week. I am running for different strains on this grow all autos.

Blue Mystic from nirvana seeds
Blue Amnesia XXL from Dinafem
Green Crack from Fast Buds
Northern lights x big bud Ryder from world of seeds

Start PHing the water or you will very soon have issues with well water. You also do not need to water the whole pot. Just immediately around the seedling. Watering the whole plant is pointless as it has no roots out that far.

They should be okay, but be really careful to not over water for first couple weeks, and I'd wait a week before upping nutes to about 1/4 strength, then slowly ramp up nutes after that... you may be watering only once every 8-10 days at first. Wait till the pots get really lite!

Just a thought what about starting in final pot but use solo cup with no bottom for start of grow. And a short piece of PVC pipe with a 6 inch diameter around cup. Once plant grows larger slide cup out of pot then pipe when plant grows to roughly diameter of pipes size. No need for transplant stress. Allows watering in smaller areas as well as root boundaries to promote vertical growth.

Dont over think it, start it in a cup till its roots are everywhere then transplant into final pot. No biggy. Or just start in final pot, it dont really matter. If it was growing in nature it is essentually starting in a giant earth sized pot.

I use 8 gal smart pots in giant saucers to catch the water and any runoff I just let it sit in it and the plant eventually soaks it up or it evaperates. No need to raise it up off the saucer.

Growing in dirt I think your ph is fine, its not as critical when growing in dirt. Just make sure the soil you use drains real good. You can probably hold off on nutes for a while, they are still real small so they don't need much. 3 plants under 600watts shouldn't be to bad, I use two 600hps for 4 plants in a 4x4 room with good results.

Do you know what kind of seeds they are or are they just bag seed? 6 months is a long time to wait for some bull shit seeds so hopefully they are at least from a decent bag if they are just bag seed.

Look into making a cloner, one that uses the mini sprinkler heads in some pex pipe works real good. U can set it on a timer to come on for 15 min every 2 or 3 hours or so and do just fine. This will make life alot easier and open the door to perpetual growing.

For my cloner and clones I use a 150 watt hps untill they are ready to swap with the flowers that are finished. This makes for a harvest every 3 months or so since the clones are teken right before I switch to flowering.

Number one thing is to be PATIENT and dont over think it. growing weed is easy, dont fuck with them just because your bored.

I'm running 4 plants in a 4 by 4 by 7. With a 600 watt mh/hps. There all auto strains. Came in original breeder packs. All feminized seeds. 5 gal smart pots in a soilless medium. Pro mix all purpose mix with added perlite and vermiculite

Watered today, pots felt quite light. Plants seem to be growing quite well. Raised light up another few inches. High enough for good coverage but low enough not to cause stretch. Roughly 12 to 13 inches off top of plants. Phed water down to 5.9-6.0. Each plant was watered about 3 cups each outside of leaf area. Plan to hold out on nutrients another few days. Seedling will be roughly 2 weeks old this coming Sunday and Monday

Do not be too anxious to start feeding.

Update. Watered today 2nd feeding with nutes. Plants all seem to be doing great in my opinion. Roughly 18 days from popping above ground. Increased amount of nutrients over first watering, but still not full strength. Opinions welcome on anything I need to improve on or do. Today's water was 715ppm and 6.2ph.
