I would say put it to flower now! You said you have a 400w on the way? I would lollipop some of the stuff off the bottom first. Like Bonzi said you are going to have a large flowering plant! They will double their size if not more. The stuff you trim at the bottom will be your clones for your next crop. Good luck

You could slowly cut down your time on your t5's untill your hps gets there. I like to bring my light hours down slowly. I take off one hour a week.

I dont think topping is needed. It looks like you have a nice bush going.

They could go 3-4 x their height when you put them into flower, strain dependent obv
I dont know the strain it was just some good regs I had got that had some seeds in it so I decided to use those on my first go round to experiment.

* I did order some good strains though for my second growth I already started them I have The Church, Mind Bender, Rocklock and Iced Grapefruit. The Church is about 2" tall and has roots its been in a single bubbleponic bucket for a week now. The others havent came up yet I got them in some grow plugs inside a dome.

ok cool good advice i am expecting my light by this time next week So imma cut off one hr exactly or should I do maybe two since they are so big? Will this turn them into hermies?

I disagree with this as you should give your plants some time under the HPS on their current schedule
Why? HPS on a 18/6 will promote streaching. Keeping your t5's close when they are starting to flower will keep them more compact. They dont need the high intenseity lights untill they are in flower working their magic.

Slowly cutting down the hours will not give you hermis......Its how nature does it.

Just saying what I would do. which is kinda wht I do now. Veg T5s flower HPS. It really will not make a difference either way. Just get them to flower ASAP.
