I'm new to the grow scene but have been smoking the precious bud for almost a year now. I have been interested in growing for a long time and got a hold of some seeds to I thought I'd give it a try.
I have a very large backyard, with plenty of ideal places to grow. The climate where I live (Maritimes) is usually 20C-30C at summer peak, and no lower than 10C in late spring. I know it is possible to grow outdoors in this climate because I know of some people that have.
The grow site that i have chosen seems to have ideal soil. I plan to add peat moss or somthing similar to the mixture. I have bagged enough soil from the site to start my plants in. I plan on starting the grow process indoors in a cupboard. The space is fairly small with 3 CFL's (2x45watt + 1x42watt). I have cut two holes in the back of the cupboard for ventilation, one at the top and one at the bottom. In place of these holes are two computer fans, top one blowing out and the bottom one blowing air in. With the lights and fans on the temp is consistent around 25C.
I have decided to keep a grow journal, with hope that you pros will guide me along the way with any advice.
June 7th
The seeds are germinating in wet paper towel, in a small dish. I have placed them in a cupboard drawer, watering it once a day or so, just enough to keep damp. The seeds have been germinating for 2 days with no results yet.
Ill keep posted with pictures sometime soon. Any tips or pointers would be appreciated.
