Hey everyone, so I'm a new member and have been searching around the site for growing tips... and now I'm starting my first grow and would very much enjoy sharing it with everyone. I'm still in the process of gathering all the supplies but here's what I've got so far:
Grow Area: 2.5x8ft closet (will leave doors open for ventilation)
Lighting: 1x 400W HPS/MH conversion kit w/ horizontal reflector and light timer
Containers: 5 gallon buckets
Genetics: 5x THC bomb seeds
Growing Medium: Fox Farms soil
Nutrients: Fox Farms Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom
Ventilation: Setup will be close to a third floor window which will be open for most of the day and night (weather dependent).
Hopefully I'll be able to get some pics up as soon as the grow begins! Starting germination early this week; as soon as I can find a pH meter to test out my tap water and soil!
Questions:
*If you have experience with THC bomb, how did your grow turn out?
*Do I need a fan for more ventilation? or is the window enough?
*Will my 400W light be able to cover the rectangular area of my closet (2.5x8 ft) even though it's recommended for 3x3 to 5x5 ft areas?
*I have 10 seeds; how many should I grow with the 400W light if I choose to grow in the open room instead of the closet?
*Can I use smaller containers?
My bad for all the questions... but thanks in advance for any input!
