First Grow...GOD'S KUSH

GOD'S KUSH from Jordan of the islands.

Germed all ten seeds in water for 24 hrs, then into organic soil with worm castings and perlite added. Plants sprouted within 24 hours after planting and are flourishing every day.

Grow box is four sections.

Cloning section: 24"x16"x20" 8-24watt 5600k CFL's

Veg section (X2) both are: 24"x16"x24" with 4 sunblaster t5's 24watt 6500k Two on adjustable reflectors, two on the sides. Split the veg section into two in case i want to change up lighting schedules.

Flower section: 24"x36"x72" with 600watt Lumatek HPS 2000k 90,000lumens

Temps so far are good at 77 to 84 deg.

Any input or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.....I was wondering if they were a little short for 9 days old. The stems dont seem to be streching and i have the lights 4" above right now. but then again i look at them every 10 min......so I've probably lost my objectivity. LOL

Help a newb out do you think they are short for 9 days old? I'm thinkin of putting a couple into veg in a couple of days.

Sorry still working on my terminology. Meant that I was thinking of switching over to 18/6 from 24hr. Thanks for the input.....I guess i'll quit worrying about their size.

I hope that you keep this grow journal going - there isn't a lot out there on growing the God's Kush strain! Have the plants grown to a size that you are happy with? Did you get your seeds from Vancouver Seed Bank? I have grown another strain by Jordan of the Islands - Timewarp - and I was pleased with the genetics.
I am going to order some God's Kush seeds this week and mayhaps we can compare notes. I would like to flower half of them early when they are still short and see how it goes. Have you found any other grow journals on this strain?

hey man looking good so far, like the set up, just a couple questions though

1. are you going to leave the side off of it for airflow?

2. How high is your box? Im not sure of the genetic height of "God's Kush" but if they do get tall are you going to be able to adjust the height?

EDIT: I guess I should have read the text of your first post instead of just looking at the pics haha, But the second part of the 2nd question I guess is valid

Wound up getting 4 females out of 10 seeds. They are now into 2nd week of flower and getting smelly edit: pic shows 8 plants...now only 4 will have to get a new pic when the lights are back on. Good thing I picked up 10 Purple Kush clones to take the place of these when they are done.
