First grow first questions

Hi everybody,
English is not my mother tongue so I apologize for any mistake.

Beginning of May I planted some bag seed. I did not grow anything before and I learned everything from the web.
Seeing the seedlings coming out of the soil was such a wonderfull thing that I wanted to care for them. I bought CFL lights, Soil, Pots(twice), Build a frame for the lights. Set a ventilator. Now I have a home build parabolic reflector with a 400W HPS bulb, a pen type pH meter, an air stone and pump, some fertilisers and apple vinegar..

My girls are not tall after 4 months. The tallest of them is about 21". I have a restricted area so I keep them in small pots. Also they didn't have enough light especially during the first month of flowering. Only after a month later that the first pistils appeared that my plants could have an HPS lighting. So keep in mind that theese plants suffered a bit. They also suffered from high pH.

I grow indoors in soil (not the best one). Recently some of them had some nutrient burn issue (you can see it in the pictures)

Most of them have been topped once. There are also untouched ones.

My first question is what puzzles me the most. My plants started to show sex, then started to form buds under 18/6 light schedule. I do not know my strain (any guess is highly appreciated). Is it possible that I have an auto flowering strain? I have read about people changing to 12/12 and still not being able to see any pistils. How can this be?

Secondly, I attached the pictures of two plants. One is a topped one with two branches. The other one is not topped.
You can clearly see the difference in bud formation. The untouched one has a dense bud with lots of hairs, but the other one is just the opposite. Is this because they are different strains or is it because of some other factor? (I do not think that topping is what made the difference. Is it?)

Third, Trichomes! Some have very few and some are covered with them. Again why? And when will they start to turn milky at least? I had enough of waiting!

Fourth. I would like to have two strain advice for indoor growing. One for the euphoric high and one for sleep disorders.

Thanks for reading.

hey your english is pretty good :)
for the plant that started budding early, sounds like it is an autoflower. you were right about that!
about the difference in buds and tricomes, they are probably different strains and thats why they are different.
in your pics your plants look a bit heat stressed, the leaves are curling up and all. what are your temperatures?

My temperatures are high. Around 29 C (84.2 F). So is the humidity. 60% ish most of the time. I guess everybody is busy inspecting their buds. Thanks nova1992 for pointing out the heat stress.

They don't look bad...but as for your question here...autos don't like to be topped, it enterupts the veg cycle...never grown 1 but that's what I've read...and yes your trichs will turn milky...lol..patients my friend....and by the way, that's the difference in the couch potato high and the cerebral high is the color of your trichs...a lil clear with mostly milky trichs is a cerebral high and when the trichs start to turn amber is when you get the couch potato (sleepy time)...and I grow an OG #18 indoors with nice results...good luck man..
