Hi all! Thanks ahead of time for reading and/or commenting any help or info I can get is greatly appreciated. This is my first grow and are seeds are from hydro and mid grade seeds I have accumulated. I started vegging for 4 weeks with five plants, and after flowering for a week I got 4 males and yanked them out. One week later my last plant, which was ALWAYS the quickest growing, and healthiest looking, turns out to be female. (yay) It was getting taller than the pot I had in planted in( I have it out on my patio and i live in an apt. complex so discretion is of the utmost importance), so i topped it three nodes down from the top. Yes i have read time and time again this is a huge no no but I figured what the hell I am just experimenting anyway so try it. Now three weeks into flowering she is looking good, staying short and the top is now forming two branching colas. All the bud sites are very small at the moment and i know because of the height of the plant I know I prob won't get more than a quarter from it dried, but it should be good smoke! I have only used water and miracle grow soil that had been potted and already had other plants grown in it for a seasons (basil, catnip), they were all stripped out and the soil aerated before planting began. Also have about 2 inches of mulch on the top layer and pot drains very well. Hopefully because of only using water the smoke won't be too harsh/chemically as I have read this can happen.
