Hey guys this is my first grow, been lurking for awhile and reading up. Just looking for any advice/tips on my setup and what i got going on. Ill try to list what I got here. I germed using the ziploc baggie and paper towel method.
-600w HPS/MH Big Daddy 3x3 Reflector
-7 Gallon Smart Pots
-FF Ocean Forest soil
-FF Trio Nutes
-Circulating Fan and Heater if needed
The strains I am trying are:
-HSO Master Kush
-Dinafem White Widow (Freebie)
-DNA Genetics Kosher Tangie
-Dinafem Blue Kush (Freebie)
*All seeds are feminised
*Also would like to note that my first order from Attitude got seized, unfortunate green customs tape. Contacted Attitude and sent the required photos they requested, they stated they didn't receive it. So i re emailed them, sent them 4 emails with the pictures and never got a reply. Been sending 2 emails each weeks and haven't got a response from them! So I tried ordering from Herbies Head Shop, seeds arrived very fast and safely, props to Herbies!!
-Currently just doing 4 plants.
Currently I am running the lights on 18/6 with the ballast adjusted to 50% right now since their seedlings, they are about 2 1/2 weeks old, do they look correct for their age?. I plan on buying a reverse osmosis system for watering, but currently using distilled, and purified gallon jugs from walmart, is this alright? Not using any nutes yet since they are so young. I also have a PH and TDS meter on the way along with a thermometer/humidity gauge.
This is my first grow ever, but I have looked up topping and LST and i'm really debating on trying these methods. Do you guys recommend it? Or should I wait until I have more experience? I am really trying for yield and quality!
I really appreciate your guys advice and hope I didn't leave anything out! I just smoked a couple fat dabs! I plan on making some edibles and nice BHO with the yield.
