First grow. Curious if they're doing good.

The first one sprouted on 10-23-11. This is my first grow and was wondering if they are where they should be? I took this pic on 11-5-11 Thanks in advance!

Looks good. They seem to have a healthy color. Growth is about what I'd expect for 2 weeks. Keep up the good work.

Awesome. :) They are in the most stone age grow room that I think is possible. Theyre in a closet with brown walls and brown carpet, sitting on the floor with a 4ft, 2 bulb floro leaned over them and a 2ft, 2 bulb floro lamp shining from the side. I just fed them MG Tomato for the first time yesterday and the biggest one grew about an inch over night. The 4fts are t12, 6500k and the 2fts are t8 daylights.

Go easy on the MG. no more than 1/2 strength. Preferably 1/4 strength at this stage of development, and only every other watering. I'm not bashing MG, you'll do OK with it, just go easy on it.

Ok, is that half of the indoor directions or outdoor? Outdoor says 1 tbsp/ gal and indoor is .5 tsp/ gal. Thats the part that confuses me. lol. I know they're indoor plants, but how many house plants are under 24/0 light?

I'd start out with a 1/4 tsp per gal for a couple of weeks, then jump it to 1/2 tsp. And feed only about every other water or so. This is not a rigid regimen you need to follow. Water them until you get run off from the bottom of he pots, then let them dry out pretty well. The roots need to get a bit dry before you water again. Rule of thumb, water them well, and feel the weight of the pot. Let them dry out and feel the weight. thats how you tell when to water. You don't water them so many ounces or ml each day. Water, let them dry, and water again. Like that. If you just take things easy, don't freak at every little "hangnail" the plant displays, you'll be fine. It's a living thing, and as such is apt to have a wrinkled leaf here and there, or a malformed stem, what ever. If you think something is wrong, bring it here, but beware what you do and what you listen to.

Thanks for the info brother. :) I'll post more pics when they grow up a bit more.
Oh, one more question. I have limited vertcal space, so I don't want then to get to big. When should I switch then to 12/12?
I think I forgot to mention that they are bag seed plants to.

You COULD flip 'em now, but I'd give it at least another 3 weeks or so. There is always topping or super-cropping to control height,

Research LST. I have mine spread out like a nine week wash. Control your canopy and you'll have good light management.

I ran a search for LTE on Google and the only thing I turned up was cell phone service. :/ Can somebody give me a detailed description of how to control plant height? I know LTE is some sort of training, but that's all I know. Which is better? Topping or training?

That would be LST or Low Stress Training. There are threads all over here about it. I, personally have never used the technique, but I have seen some pretty amazing plants from it. It will keep the height down, and give you a good or great yield. Use the search feature for more info.

Ah! Tha might be why I couldn't find anything. LOL. I just searched for lst and found a lot. I'll report back if I have any questions. :)

What method do you personally use?

ya id never go more than half dose as a full feed in mg. mainly its bad sources of dry form food so our poor plant struggles to eat it and its njot in the right ratioa for pot plants. its made for veggies and dont relate to what we grow. diff ph and ellement ratios. it works but dosent get full potential in our plant.
you stuff seems fine size for age and light used. wait for alternating nodes to flower or will never get full potential either as its not mature enough yet., if they get to tall pinch heads off or Lst it

look at the branches. they form from main stalk evenly. side by side. once tjhey reach maturity like we do in puberty they are ready. they have become an adult and will produce full potential...if we3 grow right. if not it isnt ready for that phase of life as young humans arent ready to make babies. kinda ll relates....human puberty and mature plants. so when they are mature the nodes or branches wont grow out from stem even. they alternate. one side then the other. this rate of how soon will depend on strain and light power for faster growth. less light slower maturity
