thx majic...she's a little trooper i'll tell ya...she's on day 42 (day 7 of flower by my estimate)...not very big but she's been in a small pot (not much space in a pc grow)...it's my learning plant. i have three 23w 2700K in there and my temps are stable at 84F with them on...i'm concerned about putting in another as i had heat problems for weeks in with this case and i think i found a precarious balance. others around here have harvested a single plant on 69w of CFL...i'm not expecting much, again, this is training for me. thx for looking

wow... i was worried about not having enough light for 3 plants (10 CFLS 23 watt, 5 27k and 5 65k)... this makes me happy because i didn't expect it to be enough to grow good lucking buds like that

they're still very small, but there are many and they're growing...cant wait to see them after they get some nutes in them...hope yours goes well

pics from today...i LSTed a bit more both plants, also planted three germed seeds, and watered the flowering girl (calling her Alicia - might as well start at the beginning of the alphabet) with nutes 1:2:3 formula (ph-ed the flushed water and it was dead on at 6.6 - they're in soil. watered the other plant with H2O and molasses - it's still not showing sex, it's on day 25. some pics...

closeup of Alicia's main top

the other plant is way into bondage: (it reminds me of biology class and dissecting frogs)

and a group shot of the whole family

Looking fantastic, I can't wait to see your final results man. Gives me hope that I can grow some decent buds under CFLs.

first off i would take down the glass panel if you can, it actually filters out lumes that could be getting to your plant. those plants are lookin really good man, it looks like your taking to learning how to grow pretty damn well. im subscribing and reppin you for this bro. +rep

thx guys...it is tight in there...i cant move the glass shield or temps go up big time...make no mistake, those budss are tiny...but they sure do look good

just to follow on...

tone702: it sure is tight in there...but i have two other grow boxes that are just about done, thhey will get spread out....the three small cups you see in there is already reduced to two due to a plant that went upside down on me today when it broke ground. i'm hoping for one female out of the last two...then i'll have three-four weeks between each plant...and by extension between each harvest too.

joker: thx for scribing and repping...right back at ya. i wish i could remove that glass shelf, but then my canopy temps go into the low-mid 90s...i'll give a small amount of lumens for 5-8 degree F temp drops...

my history with growing anything is not good...i always figured my house plants killed themselves cuz they saw me smoking another plant (haha). but this is working for me...i am, to put it mildly, obsessed with these plants. i look at those pics, and i know theye are small and wispy and not very impressive when compared to other grows i've seen on here, but damn...their MY plants -- I helped to make this happen...its just so cool - know what I'm sayin?

my only concern is my mother is coming next week to visit for 22 days, and as this pc case is right in my living room next to the TV, it'll be a great test of how stealthy this box truly is. Caring for them will be tough, as I'll either have to do it real quick in the morning before she gets up or late at night after everyone has gone to sleep....

Great work and +rep for getting to flowering. That case is looking killer as indeed is your girl :)
Don't know what your shield is made from but 2.5mm is considered fine for horticultural use and I think most acrylics only filter out uv light so you shouldn't lose anything even if it's a bit thicker than that.
Keep those pics coming, I'm drooling here :)

hey v12...went to post some new pics and saw your new post...thx for the encouragement, i appreciate it. not much change from the last few pics, but i have included a comparison shot of bud to pinky finger so you can see how pathetically little these buds are...sure is fun learning the life cycle tho...will help in future grows.

EDIT: stoner forgot to put in the vitals: day 46 from seed; day 10 of first signs of sex (i'm calling it flower)

here's alicia's main top:

here's a bud cluster just down stem from the main top

and finally, what an average size bud looks like compared to my average-sized man-pinky
this is ten days in to flowering...46 days into mostly 12/12...i think i have an unintentional bonsai here.

and one of the new guys on the block...just bagseed, 2 days from breaking soil

thx for looking...

hey thx v12...the shield is mid grade plexiglass, 1/8 inch (equivalent to 2.5mm i believe)...and it makes a discernable difference in the temps of the canopy, i'm talking about 5-7 degrees F.

thx doc for the repping and visiting...it is a blast! i always read around here: the more lights the better (post seedling stage of course). sounds like u got a plan there and like me i just keep trying things and trying to dial in the right environment...the challenge is the plant keeps changing, growing, and it's needs change ever so slightly and u need to learn that cycle to know how to respond to it...and thats what i'm doing with this first girl...just learning the cycle. i never used anything but 2700K lights, and she had a really challenging childhood, but there she is! i'm serious, at one point i was ready to chuck her out. sorry, i'm buzzed and rambling...but good luck and ask away! peace :leaf:
