First Grow - Caregiver - 6 Plants

Hey there RIUers...

Seeking some advice for an "efficient" system for 6 plants total as a caregiver to a friend of mine.

What I will have:

1. A room that is 4' x 4' x 6.5' in the basement
2. 600w HPS/MH

I like what I see with what a lot of you do on this site. My only thing is in order to be legal (which I want to be) in the caregiving role I can only have 3 plants flowering at one time and 3 vegging. I don't want a large reservoir for so few plants so as not to waste so much water and nutes.

I was thinking of getting a 3' x 3' flood table with the drain running into a 5 gallon bucket which would serve as my reservoir. From this 5 gallon bucket I would run a pump with a feed line back up to the table with a drip stake in each rockwool cube that the clones would come in (4" x 4"?). The pump would be on a timer and any overflow liquid would drain back through to the bucket. This bucket would also have an air stone in it. When the plants outgrow their 4" x 4" cube I would put the cube into a square pot with some hydroton and change the drip stake to a drip ring.

At the same time that I have 3 flowering I will have 3 vegging with some fluorescents in another room. I will plan on taking cuts from these before they go into the flower room after the first 3 have been harvested so I have a perpetual 6 plant system (assuming all cuts survive ;)

Questions:

1. Does this sound efficient?
2. What would you suggest for a feeding schedule with the drip stakes/rings for the flower room?
3. Any other constructive criticism?

This is my first hydro grow so looking for an "easy", low maintenance way to go about it.

Thanks y'all!

that sounds pretty good to me im thinkin about dwc and this kind of setup too if you have a drip system i would drip the clones 3 times a day not sure about later vegging and flowering tho
