First Grow - Can my girls recover? Advice needed

Hi All,

I have posted in the introduction section, would love to meet fellow MJ fans and cant wait to learn more.

So I started my first grow 4 weeks ago, Ak47 Autos, 5 seeds. Started them off in Jiffy Peat in the garage and they all sprouted quite well except for me not giving them enough light once emerged which made them tall and leggy, so lesson no1 learnt there.

After giving them more light they continued to grow for a week and a bit and I then transferred them to 5 very large pots for outdoor growing in soil. I'm in Australia so summer starts in 6 weeks and the weather has been up and down while growing, sometimes 100 deg F (36C) during the day, down to about 59 Deg F (12 Deg C) sometimes at night - But in between that for the most part. The humidity has been unusually low here also (average 30%) They were in a full sun position and I kept the plants watered, possibly a little too much (Every 2-3 days) and didn't start nutes untill week 3 (light dose). I have now bought a few days ago "Sungarden" 'hydroponic' 40W LED indoor garden by Vitality-4-Life - (name only given so you can have a look on youtube, kind of like an Aerogarden but bigger and with soil and a wtaer storage tank underneath that uses a wick to carry water to the soil so it never get over/underwatered.) and have also got a 130W 6400K CFL that I am directing into the side of this setup.

Anywayz, My main concern is the growth has been very slow for all 3 plants, (2 died from winds snapping the stems due to being 'leggy'). The most vigorous and biggest plant turned out to be a male last week - typical. So I now have two small female plants. When they are 3-4 weeks old and I started some nutes (less half strength) to try and get them moving but they are still only 4 inches high with 3 pronged leaves above the first set of seed leaves, from what I can see they already have mini mini buds on the cola - pics dont show.

They are a month old and since they are Autos does this mean I have lost my chance to VEG these to increase the size and yield of my plants??

Any advise would be appreciated. I am assuming from the research done so far that lack of light is a factor here, would be so happy if anyone could help get these girls up to speed if it's possible??

Attached pics of 2 plants now and set up.

Thanks n peace,

Psymon
