okay so its been a weird 12 days but this is what's happened
hey everybody this is my first grow ever i dont know what kind of plant they are. i got them from some weed i smoked about a year and a half ago. im not expecting this to be amazing stuff. im treating this as strictly a learning experience before i go out and spend money at a seed bank. i want to get the most out of this grow so help form anyone through out its duration would be great. i will continue this thread with updated pics until it its done.
my setup
i have four plants in half gallon pots, with two 18 inch, 15w Florissant plant bulbs that put out 510 lumens each. and i had two 100w hora solar bulbs that but out 1300 lumens but one burned out 2 days ago and i need to get a new one. the lights are probably a foot away from the plants. the plants are sitting in a clean 25 gallon fish tank (makes it easy for watering). and i have four and a half feet of ten foil 360 degrees around the closet for when they get bigger. heres the first pics. i germinated for 48 hours then planted them in jiffy germinator things where they grow for four days. then transplanted them to the half gallon pots where i put miracle grow organic potting soil in them.
so they grew for 12 days total and their on their 13th but yesterday they were really starting to worry me so with the help of everyone here on rolitup i hope i got it all worked out. this is her new set up as of today. thank you for those who helped i hope we saved my girls!
okay i got a better thermometer its digital and it was reading 61 so i closed the door to the room and plugged in a wall heater and set it to 75 and im going to leave the closet door open so the closet stays 75. i did but the heater on the other side of the room so the plants weren't getting any direct heat. i also took down the ten foil and just lift it with the white walls. also picked of 4 100 watt cfls and four new light holder that are clamped to a piece of wood thats hanging buy chains that way as the plants grows i can slowly hire them with the plants there sitting about 5 inches away from the plants right now. i also went a head and replanted them into smaller containers cause i but way to much water in them and when i looked at the bottom through the drain holes it was wet and moldy i didn't want to transplant them but it was a do or die situation with the smaller pots they will dry up quicker and i will just have to keep an eye on them but they wont get to wet i mad sure when i transplanted to smaller pots that as i was breaking away the moldy dirt and probably got 3/4 of the dirt knocked away that i didn't not go to the root ball first signs of roots and i stopped and but her in a new pot. keep your fingers crossed for my girls and lets see what happens
