First grow, any thoughts and advice welcome!

Hi all ,ive been hammering roll it up for a couple of months now and ive managed to put myself a grow together. Im just wondering if any of you had any thoughts on my set up and i have a wee question or 2. Im growing in a 8x4 room which is 8 foot high, im lighting 5 super lemon haze up with a 600w hid grolux powered by a digi ballast. For ventilation ive got a 5 inch inline fan which is pulling air out of my room through about 3m of ducting. With plenty of help from riu ive made a aeorponics type system using upturned buckets with 3 inch pots set in to the top. On the top of each bucket i have 2 micromisters that spay a very fine spray over the roots, they spray at 55lph each and i was thinking of having them running for 15 mins on then 15 mins off. Im going to be using canna nutes throughout and that leads on to my first question, ive got myself some canna start and it claims to be suitable for use from the start. Has anyone come across this before and should i use it, i know the normal advice is to leave well alone for a couple of weeks. My other problem is i only have the 600w light and im thinking it would be a bad idea to put my babies straight under it so im trying to work out how to go about it. Is there anyway to soften the light or if i put my light right up top and my babys like 7 foot away would that be ok. I would go an buy some other lights but the kitty has just about run dry

Never heard of Canna Start but Canna is a leader in the industry so i would trust that it will be fine.As far as your lighting goes just set your lights as high as you can until your seeds sprout and then move them down a bit each day.Hpe this helps

I have a 600w mh I used it for my seedlings just make sure it's about 3 feet away as for nutes if you have good soil it has 3 weeks of nutrients so start 1/4 strength at week 4 or 5

have patience when starting out. It will be frustrating and crazy trying to diagnose every little speck of color on a leaf. Its a fun hobby and its even better when you grow your first batch and can smoke it for next to nothing ($$).

Thanks for the advice, ill definatly be using it! It is a fun hobby, ive enjoyed building it all anyway fingers crossed it works. Has anyone any thoughts on the mister system??

Thaks again for the replys but does any one have feedback about the mister system. Also i was wondering when i was at work last night about light penertrating my buckets and if it would cause problems with mould??

finaly figured out how to use my mobile to write messages yeha no more long boring nights at work!! Just had to change my txt box options. Any way ive been reading about these bumps and thats what this is i really would lke some feedback on my system. Cheers
