First Grow 3 Plants, 2 Males. 1 Remains

Well this was my first grow, been really bummed because 2 of the 3 turned out to be male... so i lost all hope. After asking questions if females show sex later then males, i learned that usually if the genes in the strains make male show the fastest, then the next 1 should be female. But also someone said males stretch to get taller then females so they can drop pollen on them, and this plant has been stretching alot since 12/12. not quite sure, they were all the same seeds... but anyway, how does it look? There's some spots of yellow/orangish color on the tip of some leaves. still no sign of sex yet.

Anyway really hoping for a female... if not i might buy fem ak48s.

They've been in 12/12 for 2 weeks on monday.

So this is day 1 of flower, just found out that it's a female :D. Will update when i can.

if its some granddaddy purple the leaves will start turning purple with bright green buds, probly with some purple in the buds even

2 outta 3 ant that bad, my first grow I grew 5 and all were male! My 2nd and current grow all female! Out of 12 plants

The one good thing about growing fewer plants is that you can give all of your attention to them. Sorry to hear about your males, I know how that goes, which is not bad, just a part of the growing experience. Your one plant is a beauty.

Uppin the nutes up a bit... Been feeding her like.... 1/6 strength, movin up to 1/3, a bit nervous about feeding, would hate to burn her :(.

Base on the pictures does it seem more sativa dominant then indica? it stretched quite a bit and there are some leaves that are skinny and long but there are also fat leaves.

What a shame about the males, but at least your female is a beauty. I will look forward to seeing the end result, good luck.

Not sure if i'm counting days of flowering right.... Does flowering start when you switch to 12/12? Or when you first see preflowers? I switched to 12/12 on 2/21/11, but saw the first preflowers on her on 3/6/11.

Took her out of the closet today to look at the back colas, this 1 got like.... top heavy or something, and made the entire branch kinda bend down then the bud started growing towards the light or something... I don't know, but it looks crooked :D.

Also i don't know if i'm supposed to start counting flowering days from the first day she showed her first hair? Or when i switched the lights to 12/12... I guess the question would be, does it look 4 weeks into flowering, or 2 weeks?
