DAY 0:

Today I started germination. I took an easy method, dampening 3 paper towels and placing the seeds on the bottom layer inside a Tupperware container. I'll give it some fresh air when I check it, twice a day.

Going ahead and preparing my solo cups. I will use clear cups with regular cups sleeved over them with the bottom cut out, to protect the roots.

I have a hydrofarm unit, 4 bulbs, rated at 20,000 initial output, so yeah that is roughly 5,000 a bulb

Thanks for the comments guys. Can't wait to get these babies in some soil and get them sprouting.

Day 3:
Noticed that 3 of the seeds have very small root development, will be waiting until tomorrow to start planting. Not sure whether to use plastic bags on top of the solo cups for humidity or not, or whether to put them under the t5 right after planting. I'll read up some more before then.

Day 6:
All of the rest of the seeds have grown root and were planted. One of the previously planted ones is already trying to sprout. Right now they are under 2 CFL's until I get some of the heat issue addressed inside the grow room, which should be tonight. Pics tonight as soon as I get these babies under the t5.

Day 9:
I have addressed the heat issue, and now my temps are pretty perfect. I am wondering, however , if my babies were too stressed from the high heat. All of them have sprouted, but two of them are still pointing upwards and haven't spread their leaves. Also I'm unsure of if I should still be keeping the top soil moist or watering them, as the soil looks pretty dry. I can't find my usb cable for my camera, so here is one pic of one of the plants that havent spread out yet, what should i do??????

Day 10:
Ok the leaves have spread and are working their way flat, I'm keeping the soil moist and on a 19/5 light schedule, temps are pretty perfect. Pics as soon as I find the usb cable for my camera.

Day 11:
I noticed the soil was pretty dry, so I watered them, and this pic was taken before hand, but they are very green now and look pretty healthy to me. I have some more up close pics I will upload when I get home.
