First ebb and flow indoor help!!

Alright I'll make it short and sweet. I've grown outdoors before, decided to move indoor and give a hydro a go. Wouldve done so sooner but only recently acquired a safe living space for it. If I'm gonna do it I wanna do it right. I'm currently working on setting up my 4x4 tent with a 3x3 ebb and flow table. I haven't decided weather or not to use the 600 or 1000w yet. The light will be air cooled and I'm hoping to squeeze 9 plants in the table and have them go full harvest cycle. Like I said I've done outdoor before and I've read book upon book for hydro but the best way to learn is from experience so any advice tips and input you experienced guys have I highly appreciate. I'd like an idea of what I can expect for yield if done properly the first time and after I get my system down. The plants are Big Bud. The first time around they'll be seedlings, after that clones. I've had buddies say they can get 4 oz a plant in the same system after getting it down pat. Is it alright to expect this in
time or is that completely out of reach? Any inputs great thanks guys. P.s. Please no bashing, I have no hydro experience and don't pretend to otherwise I would never have posted this. Feel free submit any photos of any similar setups and how well they're doing. I'll post pics in a few weeks hopefully

ok so your tray is a 3x3 which means you have 9 square feet in it so for 9 plants each plant only has 1 square foot for itself to grow in, now i would say with a 1000w (which i would highly suggest) 4 oz's from 9 plants is 2.24 lbs so in grams per watt you are looking at over a gram a watt. now as thats not entirely impossible its not the easiest to achieve now 2 oz's a plant is more achievable and what i would see as more possible. i would recommend lollypopping all of them as the light intensity lies in the canopy where you will get more denser colas. i use the same concept (1 plant per square foot) in my trays and usually get 2 oz's a plant with trimming and all that. getting the right equipment is great learning how to prune, train etc is the challenge for sure.
here are some pics of what mine look like when lollypopped and in about week 6.

and clones are going to make your life allot easier when dealing with a system like this as they are already mature when they go in and seeds take a bit more veg time to achieve maturity.

Awesome response thanks man. I see what you mean with lollypoping. Other things I've been playing around with are either a scrooge or sog. I've heard suggestions to just make it 16 plants and just sog them and s buddy suggested scrog for the 9 plants. Would screening the 9 of them really increase yield or is he just clueless? Obviously my overall goals like everyone else are quanity and quality. I'd like as much weight of decent buds that I can squeeze out of the system.

your system is great, the area of the canopy is what matters and not the tray, so you have 4x4 so you got more than 1.6ft for each plant. i would top them and tie the taller branches to make the canopy as even as possible, i would also do 6 plants from seeds and maybe 20-25 SOG style from clones

im not to sure about scrog i have never tried it. now in my last harvest i tried 3 with the method i told you about and then i tried 4 completely sog style now my strains are just not a great plant for the single cola pruning method as they love to branch so even if i veg for a week i get ALLOT of branching. now i hear that white Russian is a great strain for this method may try it again in the future but anyway off the 4 smaller plants and the 3 larger ones i got 8 dry oz's the larger ones where 2 oz's each and the 4 smaller ones where 1/2 oz each.
