First DWC Grow...Issues

First dwc in a single bucket. Noticed one brown root a few days ago. The rest were white. I cut the brown one off. Today I found the entire root mass is browning. I'm feeding Advanced Nutrients Trio supplemented with B-52 and Voodoo Juice. Resevoir is maintained at 67ish to 70F. Changing rez weekly. Just ordered some Southern AG fungicide should be here in a few days. Am I on the right track? I can lower the rez temp if need be. Plant is in early veg and seems fairly healthy at least in the foliar environment. I thought I had my bases covered but apparently not. Any advice on turning this situation around would be greatly appreciated.

Your water is a bit warm for sure, try to keep it at about 18c/64f max.

But also as above, pics of your set-up will help, and what nutes you are using - some can stain the roots.

Pics...first 3 are the cooler bucket. Rest are roots and dwc bucket. The rez temp is on an inkbird controller. Rise in temp brings on a pump that circulates the solution through the coil in the cooler bucket. Temp is reset to 63 with a 2 degree F differential. Nutes are in original post. Thanks

Voodoo juice should do the same as the one you ordered.
I would try to rinse and massage any material off the roots then try double dosing voodoo on the buckets you don’t chill.
Enjoy and good luck

Above 18c, bad stuff can more rapidly grow in the water. Any light exposure in the water can also encourage bad stuff to grow at a faster rate... but it looks like your hoses are all black anyway so thats a plus. The only time the roots or resevours should ever see light is when your inspecting them or doing feeding/maintenence/taking measurements.

Is that yellow bucket light proof? might be worth wrapping it in black or silver aluminum duct tape...or on second look thats more a chiller bucket, so maybe not nessesary.

Good luck man, they look like good roots for the size of the plants:cool:

Correct the chill bucket isn't light proof but doesn't need to be as the nutrient solution circuit sees no light. Looks like this weekend will try to wash some of that off and hopefully the beneficials and lower rez temp will turn things around. Thanks.

did you wash your hands whilst removeing the darkened roots? after rather. disease can be rapidly transfered to the rest of the roots. also a compleate res c;lean and change of nutes is nessesary IMO

Your water level looks too high to me,try to remain 2” from water to bottom of net pot they need that air space

Following up it appears that the condition is improved since posting. In just a few days I have more roots and brown is greatly diminished. Only action so far has been to lower the rez temp. Hopefully that's all it needed. Planning to do a thorough cleaning tomorrow and continue to monitor. Thanks for the helpful replies.
