first cfl stealth micro dresser grow

hey, first off im going to say the journal will offically start once i buy seeds off my friend in a day or 2 so i will post back when i start to grem them and give details about how i am doing it and if its right or wrong but right now i just have it all set up heres what i did

1. i toke a mini-dresser (one thats only 2 drawers) and i toke out all the drawers dismounted the faces and put on in a sitting position on 2 hooks on the bottom and the other i added 2 hings to so it opens like a door.
2. THEN I added white printing paper for reflection on the sides/walls
3. THEN i toke one of the drawer bottoms and placed it into the bottom of the dresser and it fited tightly in place (only used becuz it had no bottom)
4. NEXT i toke the other one and screwed in 2 tin pie pans on one side and screwd in a dual and single light fixture(all i had((equalling 3 sockets)) )then i used chains also screwd into the board to hold the lights horizontally (i think or vertically)(it look like this _ NOT this | then i screwd this board once it had all the lights on it, on to the top of the empty dresser.
5. NEXT i toke a knife and scissors and cut 2 holes one for intake and one for out take i have the outtake at the top right corner and intake at the bottom left
6. NEXT i set up a thing i thought of for covering the light leaks i toke a plain black garbage bag stapled white printing paper to one side so it doesnt absorb the light and so it reflects it more
7. NEXT i toke the garbage bag and screwd on side to the top of the dresser(inside top) and added a string in the middle so i can roll up the garbage bag and tie the string to look/water/watch/maintain the plants im planning to have
8. NEXT i needed to buy fans for intake and outtake seeing how i didnt have anywhere to get a computer fan or how to wire it i got an idea from another user to use whats called a xbox intercooler (pics will be shown for the whole set up) and i unscrewed the intercooler and toke out the 2 fans inside it
9. THEN i screwd the fans in the way so the air pushs/pulls the right way(opposite for both((intake and outtake)) )
10. NEXT i seald the holes where the fans were screwd in(i cut circle holes not squares((bad idea)) )
11. THEN i got some alright sized tupperware and screwed/poked/cut holes in the bottom of them (only 3 bowls/pots cuz my space is small)

NOW I JUST NEED TO GERM SOME SEEDS

HERES THE MATERIALS I USED FOR EACH

LIGHTING
i am using 3 26w cfls mounted on
tin pie pans held this way _ by chains

WALL REFLECTION
plain white printing paper

PLANT POTS
plain good size tupper ware

SOIL
cant buy it at a store in my area and i dont got a car so i had to dig up some soil from my back yard toke it just before the snow came and put 3 worms in it (they died once i filled the pots with soil i found out) so that should be good so it like gives more nutrients to the soil from the dead worms

TEMP/HUMIDITY READINGS
i dont have a eletric reader so its just a normal temperature reader the temperature with my lights on and no fan (only examined after 2 hours of leaving it) was 28-30o C with the fans on and the lights on the temperature is 24-26o C which should be good from what i hear

LIGHT LEAKS
cardboard pieces and black garbage bags

OTHER SMALL THINGS NEEDED

1. screw driver(s)
2. stapler with staples
3. tape(hockey tape seems to work better then the dollar store brand i experienced)
4. random big and small sized screws
5. screw in hooks
6. dollar store chains(necklaces)
7. scissors
8. knife

once i set up everything listed i had a few light leaks along the sides of the garbage bag i used for light leaks so i toke the box from the xbox intercooler and cut it and taped and screwd it into the sides and top of the box (after i bent it at a 90 degree angle) so it had a flap hanging down to stop light leaks

also i was wrapping presents(its the 23rd of December Christmas is in 2 days what u think) so i ran out of wrapping paper when i read someones post about if light hits ur roots it can cause them to rot so becuz i heard it many times before i toke the cardboard roll from the center of the wrapping roll and made one cut directly down it to make it flat instead of circle and then i trimmed it to the right size and taped pieces to the Tupperware i am using for the plants just in case(but i didnt make it cover the soil only the sides of the pot).

also i AM doing a 12 hr on 12 hr off light schedule

just bought some seeds i only bought 2 but it only cost me $5 so im good and if these dont work im going to buy 5 more seeds off my other buddy but anyways

UPDATE:
just set the 2 seeds to germ heres what i did
i toke 2 ceramic plates(smaller ones then ud eat dinner with)
2 sheets of paper towel
and the seeds i wet the paper towel in warm water(not hot or cold a little above room temperature)
and placed the 2 seeds on the paper towel after i folded it a few times
then i folded the papper towel on more time once i placed the seeds in it and set the other plate on top of it
then i placed ONE little strip of tape along the crack inbetween the 2 plates so they dont slid off each other
next i placed the 2 plates with the seeds inside in my grow cab (yes i did)
then i turnd on the lights and left the intake and outtake fans OFF
only becuz i live in canada and my house is around 68-70o f so the lights on in my cab it makes the temperature reach around 25-30o C which i approx. around 75-80o F so i thought it would help
and the plate on top protects the seeds from light so it should be good did i germinate them right?
how long until i check on them? how logn until they have a tap root ? how long until i place them in the soil? anyone?

(sorry got no pictures anymore becuz i need to buy lithium batteries for my camera and i cant find them anywhere)
thats it for the update hopefully these 2 seeds BOTH crack n grow to females(IF they crack)

Looking good so far. You should have a good amount of room in that setup. In my experiences germinating seeds, it can take anywhere from 2-5 days; its usually on the shorter side though. One thing I would recommend is to veg your plants a little bit before you put them on 12/12 lighting. Just give them 18/6 or 20/4 until they are good sized little sprouts or whatever size you feel comfortable with because it wont begin to bud right out of its seed. Good luck though, im subscribed

naw there just bag seeds

n i wanted to do 12/12 from seed cuz i dont got alot of room to grow in(hight wise) is only about 2-2.5feet lol

UPDATE:
checked seeds n i THINK i saw a little tiny white root poping outta the one and its only been 24hrs but thats not 100% lol but anyways ill check up on them tomorrow n see what they look like(later hours)

Looks like a good idea i myself am going to be starting a stealth grow CFL but i ordered my seed from online, some Barneys Farm LSD. Ask your buddy what the name of the seeds are or what he got them from cuz if he gots no info you can go get yourself a bag of regy for 5bucks and have a buncha seeds ha they make good practice too

well i askd him n he said just a bag of some good weed lol he said he got it outta some half onze he bought but he said it was desent smokin so n i cfant find seeds alone in my area let alone a bag of weed and seeds lol (weeds easy to grab seeds different) atleast up here

wait...your friend charged you 5 bucks for two random ass bag seeds? dude if so, you need to delete him from your facebook friends and never talk to him again, thats a straight hoe move right there! lol man buy a 5 dollar regs nug and you will get like 10 seeds out of that and you can roll up a blunt. i really hope your friend didnt play you like that

lol well i kinda made him a deal he gives me a half onze for 90 plus to seeds so they were kinda free but not really cuz i usaillly pay 85 a half onze but i couldnt contact my dealer so i just bought it for $5 more n got 2 seeds with it

UPDATE:
the update is ii checkd the seeds this morning and one crackd and had a 2mm taproot coming out the other i could see but it lookd crackd
o imma leave them germing for another 2-3days then plant them in the soil

since i need a name for the 2 plants i was thinking of using a actual strain but i dont know if i wanna lie
so, i decided im going to make a NEW strain (even tho there bag seeds) im going to look at the plants while there grow
and just give them 2 names for each one indica real strain name with something added to it and then sativa if the leafs sare more skinny and lighter green then a indica plant so just to say the one seed that has a bigger taproot atm is going to be called either green rhyno(mostly indica) or green devil (sativa)
green rhyno ovbisly made up of white rhyno so if its mostly dark green i will change the name to dark rhyno
then for the seed thats now crackd and has a taproot but is a little slower im going to call sapphire (sativa) took from a seedbank name of "sapphire star"
and if its mostly indica i will call it diablo which is a actual strain from another seed bank (mix of sativa/indica) but i like the name

UPDATE:
it is 4:00pm here but i saw a few things that say if ur roots are too big before u plant them then they might not grow so i planted the to now that will run on a 12/12 lighting system like i said before and i am only running them from now until 11pm which is...7 hours until the dark peroid and then the lighting will be 12/12 from 11am in the morning til 11pm at night heres what i did correct me if i did it wrong

1. toke the soil filled pots and pressed my finger in the center of the pot to the depth of aproxx. 3/4-1 inch deep
   
2. placed the seeds in the hole i made with the taproot pointing UP which is what i read ur sappose to do
3. then i taped(becuz i cut one that didnt fit) a piece of plastic wrap over the 2 pots
4. set dvds under the lights to the right hight(2-3 inches) from the lights (taken from the top of the pot)not the soil hight?(soils approx. 1 inch lower then the rim of the pot so the soil doesnt spill when i water it
   
5. and now im running the lights since 4pm to 11pm with the fans on and then fans and lights tomorrow and ever other day from 11am-11pm
   

now the waiting how long until they sprout? any guesses? whats the adverage time and whats the longest time i should wait for them to break the soil?

well i would say you planted them wrong. i put the tap root down into the soil. the roots grow in soil, and the plant comes out of the seed to grow above the soil, so why would you not plant it that way?dont worry though, the plant will sprout, it just may take hella long!

my bad i ment down got mixed up i put the seed pointing up n the root down

oh well any way should i only give it a week to sprout n then dig at it to c if it workd or not?

n should i give it like or leave it in the dark?
