First CFL grow.

Hello all, to those reading I'm happy you are here and am excited for my first journal. Hopefully all goes well and I get a nice harvest at the end. This is gonna be a combination of two different grows. The older two plants are just bagseed that i had laying around, the other 4*seeds*were ordered from a seedbank. I'm gonna start by going over what I'm using and what has happened thus far. All of my plants started from seed, to germ i used the paper towel method (that i put inside my desktop computer to keep nice and warm). After a few days they were ready to plant into soil. For soil Im using 60% organic soil from the store. It was rich soil with a pretty good supply of nutes that I didn't realize at the beginning. The other 40% was mg perlite(only brand they sold in my area). For nutes im using foxfarm grow big(which I havent used since first sets of plants, they are green so im letting them be) and during flower im using a high p value feed(will post a pic tonight). Also I have superthrive and general hydroponics ph kit. I try to keep the ph of the water around 6. My veg room is a white closet that measures 6x3x6 there is a self at the top so limits height a bit but thats ok. Im only using a portion of the entire closet to help not to waste light. Im currently running one large osilating fan and 6 23 watt 6500k and 5 23 watt 5000k and 2 23 watt 2700k lights.( I believe that is enough for three plants). With the ac on in the room the temps stay about 78 during the day(when its in the 90s outside) Now for some pics of my babies in veg. Its been 5 weeks from sprout and still dont have names so help me out.

This is a white rhino reg seed from nirvana. Its in a 5 gallon bucket with the same mixture that I mentioned above. Ive recently topped(1 week ago) and I think its coming along very nicely.*


This is my feminized AK-48 also from nirvana. It is really bushy and im liking that. Im kinda surprised that I had to raise my lights just so it would grow a bit taller. I also topped this one at the same time as the others, for some reason its a bit slower but I see three main shoots coming from where I topped. Is this normal for this strain? It seems to always be in groups of 3s*


Finally the grunt, its a feminized Atomic Bomb from bomb*seeds. I havent heard much about this strain but I believe it is new so thats why im trying it out. When this seed sprouted it didnt have its two seedling leaves, I have no idea what happen to them ha so it was just a stick with a touch of green at the top. Pretty much the weirdest thing ive seen. I wish I would've taken some pics to show but it took about 3 weeks just for the leaves to grow. Hopefully it works out ok. I need to transplant into a bigger pot here soon. Prob gonna put it into a gallon container for a few weeks before flower. Enough with my rambling here are some pics of it now.**Thats all for the veg room gonna make another post for the flowering room.

Thanks headie and Great lemon. Im trying not to mess with them and just let em grow ill keep everyone up to date as long as there are people to listen. I do have two bagseed and another white rhino in my flower room. ill show them off tonight with another post.

Thanks for stopping in xpoc and fluffer. Im really curious how the atomic bomb is gonna turn out. Im gonna clone mine before I put it into flower so I have something for the next grow. Fluffer, it's good to hear that white rhino did well for u, as of yesterday my white rhino that is in flower is a girl. Im really excited to see it grow over the next two months. Hopefully I get the same results as you. Stick around guys tonight ill be posting an update and go over my flower closet

Good man. I would like to see it. So when I got home tonight I saw some brown spots on the edge of my leaves. I believe this is a cal deficiency, unless someone else knows. Ill post a pic in a few hours. I just ordered some cal mag so I hope it gets here before they get too hurt. If anyone knows of anything I could buy at walmart to help with my problem please let me know.

If it's a cal def, I've heard of people using "plain" unflavored tums if they needed calcium quick.
Here's a few pics of my Atomic Bomb. She is two feet tall, and 20 days since first pistil.
I think she's living up to her description pretty good. She smells great, and the trichs are everywhere.

That plant looks really good I hope mine turns out looking something like that. So I read some more and it may be magnesium deficiency, so I gave them 1teaspoon of it per gallon of water. The brown spots start on the bottom and middle of the plant. Ill have an hour to post some pics after work today. Thanks for that advice man if that doesn't help then ill try the tums. I hope they look better in the coming week.
