First bubbleponic/cfl grow

I would like to thank Roseman for all of his invaluable information in getting me to this point. My set up will be 8 26 watt cfls 4 @ 2700k and 4 @6500k. I have a ten gallon tote that I plan to have 6 plants in utilizing the bubbleponics system that Roseman outlined in his tutorial. I have tried to do everything DIY and will document how I did it.
The first thing I had to do was build a Grow Tent. I went to home depot this morning an picked up 5 10' lenghts of 1/2" pvc pipe, 8 T fittings and 8 T fittings with one side smaller than the others. To build a 5'x3'x2' tent first cut 2 lengths of pipe in half to get the 4 5' lengths. Then cut 4 lengths of 3' and 4 lengths of 2'. There will be some extra but I always find a use. From here it is pretty simple. Just lay 2 5' sections on the floor and attach the T fittings by the middle outlet and basicly put it together. the T fitting with the smaller end will slide into the proper T fitting. However when sliding the pipe into the wonky T fitting it is a little loose and I just used a little tape to keep it in place. Once the framework is together, take 2 emergency blankets from walmart or mylar on a roll if you got it and wrap the outside of the frame using clear tape to hold it up. Once that is done I took some 4 mm black plastic from walmart again and rewrap the structure holding in place with plastic. A little disguise work latter and it is done. total cost was less than $30 and can be taken down in a few moments since none of the connections were glued

Very nice for a DIY grow, you want to make sure the whole box is covered though with no gaps what so ever to stop any light getting out.

Finaly got my stuff from Stealth hydro today, however it was missing the rock wool that I ordered. As bad as they are with getting orders right and on time, if you call they will fix it. I called about the order being tardy so I asked them to waive the shipping charges and they did, they didnt argue with me on my missing rock wool and have it on the way. Bummed that I still have to wait to start my grow tho. I think Im gonna start off with some broccoli and alpine strawberries to draw out any imperial entanglements before I plant my girls

Dont worry about planting food, your set up is relatively small. Imperial entanglements are only for those who can't keep their mouths shut to friends or someone else has dobbed you in... You are not going to be drawing enough power to raise suspicions... Damn the man...;-)

Get those babies in there and lets see what they can do...:bigjoint:

thanks for the encouragment. I feel i cant be too careful. lil shakey as its my first time. lol kinda like getting laid for the first time
