What’s up everybody. New grower here well sort of. I’ve done 2 runs in my 4x4 tent under 300w viparspectra reflector series (blurple 2017 lights) and I am now finally having some success on the 3rd go around. I went through a host of issues leading up to this point but am hopeful of what the next 2 months will bring.
The first time around I had around 9 clones in 3 gallon fabric pots. I was using FF ocean forest soil and the FF nutrient trio. It all was going well until a bit of laziness and an angry fiancé (deserved) resulted in spider mites, destruction of plants and an untimely early harvest. The grow yielded maybe 2 ounces between all harvested bud. All larf and fluffy, though it did get me high it was not what I wanted after years of dreaming.
Fast forward March 2020 and I decided to try my hand again amidst quarantine blues. I popped 3 bag seeds and set them up in solo cups with more FF Ocean Forest. Once I got the tent setup we were in around April and one of the plants had perished because of high temps. The remaining 2 were also suffering inside the tent because of high heat. Long story short I deck out my tent with A/C, 16 in. mounted oscillating fan, Humidifier, 8 in Exhaust fan and all other supplies needed. But (Drumroll) the 2 plants that remained and started to grow beautifully turned out to be MALES. I could cry with disappointment.
Now the 3rd time around with feminized GG4, G13, and California Snow x White Widow(auto) seeds from I49(.)net things are looking GREAT. I have 2 GG4 and 2 G13 in 5 gallon fabric pots inside the 4x4 with the autoflower in a 7 gallon in the center. I just flipped to 12/12 and the photoperiods are looking great. The autoflower is going into week 3 of flower, from being planted in mid August. It has some windburn from me going overkill with the 16 in fan as well as a tabletop fan below(removed). It also shows signs of a slight magnesium deficiency. But is still budding along nicely so I am still happy to say the least. In around 2 months let’s hope things are getting stinky.
I’ll attach some pictures to show you guys. Thanks for reading, I’ll continue to update here. Pics are from a few days ago.
