i have pretty much decided that i'm putting a automatic fire extinguisher in my closet grow, the area is 6'x2'x8', 600w hps w/eletronic ballast, air-cooled hood w/inline fan, all equipment mounted on 3/4" fire treated plywood inside, ballast and timers just outside of closet on f-t plywood as well, light hood and anything suspended with thin steel safety cable... this was the model i was looking at, and i was particularly interested in the FM-200 agent... mainly because if in the small chance there could be a fire or accidental discharge it would be better than cleaning up dry agent... just wondering if anyone has every utilized or knows anything in particular in the pro's/con's of using FM-200... they are a bit pricey, but if its the right choice between dry chemical or that, then i guess it would be worth it... also wondering if some would go with a dry chemical solution for about $50 as opposed to this one for $180... safety is paramount as i'm a patient, and sometimes work takes me out of town, and my lady whos also a patient would be keepin an eye on things... everything will be balanced as far as electrical load goes, i just feel concerned with so much goin on in my closet lol...
