I recently Ordered my Aerogarden Pro200 for $150 and Ordered some Low Life seeds ( Ak47 x NYC Diesel) from Dope-seeds. since it will take some time before they arrive i made a shopping list:

3 27w CFL's - I read alot about how important extra light are so i hope this is good

Ph Kit - gotta keep it in check

Nuts - looking to find a good all around nutrient

Thermometer - cant get to hot!!

I already have a good timer and fans but i was still worried about three things:

1. PPM Meter - Do i need to have one of these? i heard that they help you nuts and plant intake.

2. Mylar - i wanted to find something good to cover the closet walls with is there anything more cost effective?

3. im really stoned am i forgetting anything?:bigjoint:

ok---your growing in a closet and you bought an aerogarden? You could have gotten a complete light system and everything else needed to fill that space.

Yeah man, lookin' good. I'm growing in an AG too. You can get mylar by buying the emergency blankets. I got a roll of 1m on altgarden.com, 4' by 25' for 13 dollars. Definitely gonna need airstones and an air pump. Make sure you get 6500K lights for veg and 2700K for flower if your doing cfl all the way through. I'm doing cfl til I get the money for an HPS. I have the General Hydroponics 3 part nutes and they're workin' good so far for me. PPM is not required, it just lets you see if your plants are drinking the nutes or just water, that way you can judge how much nutes to put in there. Hope it ends up good, I'll be watchin this one.

thanks for the info. i heard that they aerogarden come stock with 4200 lumens so i figured by adding 3-4 27w cfls around the setup i should be around 10000 lumens.

i plan to grow only lowryder seeds but after this first grow if needed i will definatley get an HPS light the price seems to be going down on ebay for a good light my friend wants to order one 400w complete HPS system for only $119

just remember that stuff in an emergency kit is not mylar,it is made to suck in heat and not realease it like when you trapped in the snow you can wrap up in it and it will keep you warm to survive but is very reflective,it is bad if you have a heat prob.but if not dont worry.i order seed all the time from attitude seedbank,they got the largest feminized selection ive ever seen,but there are also other sites just as good.

Shoulda made your own DWC for cheaper and it would work a hell of a lot better. You could have gotten a light and probably make the DWC for the same price as you paid for the aerogarden. Good luck with it man, I'm sure you'll be making your own DWC soon

Yea the AG is a great Learning tool, its not a big loss at all, i mean, that thing is perfect for clones,

fukin A right its perfect for clones and newb to learn.Hell prolly be building his own,but you gotta learn somewhere and the AG is small so you gotta keep it up,,,more hands on experience.

No you're not, you are going to be posting a thread asking how to build a bigger dwc because the aerogarden is a pain in the ass... lol i'm just messin with you bro, I'll be following this one. You don't have any bagseed or anything like that?

hey man depending on ur location depends on ow fast the beans arrive..it takes a couple weeks to get to me..

i finnally got my seeds in the mail today they even honored their promise for 10 free skunk x haze seeds:mrgreen:

i just have to finish my shopping and im ready to grow bongsmilie

also just cleaned and setup my grow room:blsmoke:

yeah i do but wanst sure if i wanted to do practice runs. Im not saying that im going to have an amazing grow but im the type of person to constanly check to make sure stuff is correct and have definately learned alot from reading threads here on RIU.

so when i do start the process im sure you guys will keep me on my toes to make this first grow memorable:joint:
