Nice!! I wonder how long one charge will last since the actual filter is not far off, technically even cheaper than their standard filter. I just bought my first ac infinity filter earlier this week. I'll pick one of these up next time to try out. I'm shocked that more companies haven't done this already. Now that this one is out, everybody will surely follow suit.

Used to be a hydro shop here that they would get old charcoal filters and put them in a large vat of boiling water to reactivate the charcoal. They would then resell them.

I've thought about trying this before with an old filter. The only thing that scares me is the mesh that holds the charcoal in is super flimsy and fragile so I'm not sure how that would hold up to high temps.
