Final week?........

Right so im in final week, has anyone got any tips or tricks regarding a boost in yield....?

Yup , keep her healthy , don't starve her and maybe switch to a mh and raise the light. Just my opinion , Good Luck be patient & Enjoy!

i wouldnt pull your light away makes no sense....you can use a bud plumping nute last couple weeks of flower but ive never done this dont know how well it works....any other yield increasing methods need to be applied throughout the life of the plant..what your asking for really doesnt exist..you cant just grow a plant and say ok one week to go now what can i do to make it larger! ...just keep on course at this point and make sure you dont chop it early

I've read that a dark period before harvest can increase trichome production

yes supposedly you can increase resin production by going dark for 48 hours and also removing as much humidity from the air days before harvest...but i cant attest to this being true or not...though the one time i gave a 48 hour dark period it was definately some crystally shit...

Taking plants early, will loose you size so I say wait, to build size...

Wait until you see 5% amber tric's...
and most white hairs have turned amber and receeded...

The plant will be at it's most skunky... smelly... sticky...
wait... feed it... love it... look cloose for amber tric's...


This way you will know you have taken your plant at max....

Your yields determined bro aslong as you dry correctly. Nothing you can do now to boost yields, but taste well thats another story.

only use a normal feed schedule until the end when going all organic. in chem ferts you should flush your soil.
also the amber trich thing is completely personal preference..all the amber trich means is that it is decaying some ppl swear this adds a couchlock effect but those same people admit waiting too long will ruin it. a good indica will have a couchlock feel anyway and the best thing to do is harvest at the very first sight of amber trichs or just before you see any, choosing your high profile in the strain you grow not the over ripeness of the trichs..you will find after the plant has been chopped the trichs will continue to mature for a while and you will end up with a percentage of amber anyway

Im selling bottles of magical THC enhancing potion .. just dump the whole entire bottle over your plants and watch the magic happen.. lol

blue cheese have you tried molasses? or what exactly would you suggest near the middle/end of flowering to increase certain terpines that effect taste...ive heard of this here and there but never tried anything just because it wasnt time to add another piece to this puzzle...it is now lol

I can attest and say this method is one i always use, dont some experimenting with 6 plants, 3 were harvested end of lights on and 3 were left for another 48hrs in the dark with a mini de-humidifier and with less than 30%rh. The ones left in the dark were clearly more sticky, from what i smoked of them the potency and high was the same, im a fan of sticky bud so i have used this method ever since, thc is at its peak when lights are off, thats a fact.

Mollases works but i dont have to tell you this, use of mollases derived from old school columbian farmers feeding there crops vanilla, mollases, sugar cane to sweeten the final product, do u remember columbian gold, exactly,mollases was just a favourite and still is. Trace elements are key in producing sugars and allowing plants to use carbohydrates way after reserves are depleted, plants in bloom have a very high carbohydrate turnover so you need to make sure its always availible, Co2 will help make sugars alot more readily available aswell. I flush for a week with mollases and then a week water(ro) my ppms below 50 at harvest, have found flushing to long with mollases actually effects the bud as in tastes and or smell like mollases. Ive been useing nirvana by advanced nutrients and have been wowed by the result its a organic bud builder full of great stuff and has definately improved my crops, especially the taste, so if i can reccomend anything its got to be that.

Amber tric's still have THC, so I say wait until you see a few.... 5% or less...
Clear Tric's on the other hand have no THC, so you never want more than 5% clear Tric's is my thinking...
The plant will make clear tric's till the end... Amber will only happen at the end...
It's a fine balance act...
