Thank you to this community for what it has taught me.
I have been designing my first grow room for the past couple months and I think I'm going with the following set-up.
If someone sees a big mistake here, your thoughts will help me greatly. I'd like to design a nice system that produces that can be expanded into the existing space and then potentially to a larger space.
- 12 x 12 x 8 foot outside building, demised to a 6 x 4 veg room and an 8 x 8 flower room, 100 amp electric sub panel, natural gas, and water (drain TBD).
- ebb and grow 12 site hydro system, to be expanded as room permits
- (2) 1000 w hps lights in flower, a big T5 in veg room
- 4000 w lighting controller with timer, hardwired, for flower lights (8 light version is $100 more)
- ventilated over-sized hoods - sun system Magnum XXXL's, probably 8 inch venting
- Sentinel atmosphic controller to control Co2, temp, humidity, air intake/exhaust
- water cooled CO2 generator, valve, natural gas, drain to waste
- in-take fan
- in line vortex exhaust fan
- basic 240v 1000 watt ballasts
Those are the basics.
