FIM Double Cookies Auto

A couple of questions, my auto cookies are 24 days old. I’m growing outdoors, but the weather has been so cold lately that she’s been indoors since germination. I plan to start introducing her gradually to the outside as the weather warms up. For now, I’m quite keen to FIM her instead of LST, maybe I need both training methods? Could anyone please recommend when I should FIM her, and is now too early? Also, I know she’s slightly spindly, but how does she look? I see space between nodes is around 1.5 inches, I heard this is a bad sign? Thanks for any help you can give.

I've read some mixed results on FIMing autos. Might be better to top.

I think you're flipping a coin with a higher stress technique at 24 days old and only 4 nodes. She should be starting to flower in the next 10 days and adding in the stress of hardening off, it could really stunt growth.

Personally, I'd just LST and let the lower nodes get some light.

Thanks so much for your advice. I was scared of LST but it seems a much softer option so I will use this method. Cheers

Starting LST
