Fertigation Set-Up For Soil/Drip System

I have a new room and one of the perks is that it has a hose spicket. I grow in 10 gallon buckets and am always looking for ways to automate as much of the watering as possible. Currently I fill a 35 gallon trashcan every 3 days when it is about 1/3 full. I mix my nutrients in each time, I tend to lean towards under nuting my girls. A propump feeds 3, 8 station drip system 'octopus' with each line about 2 ft w 2 gph drippers.

I would like to get rid of my resevoir. The other day I picked up a Gilmour digital hose timer. I can control wich day the hose valve turns on and for how long to the nearest whole minute.

Now comes the challenge, what is the best, cost-effective way to apply nutrients?

Here are the options I have come up with, however I am hoping for some better ideas from some of the more senior growers out there.

1) I purchased a brass fertilizer siphen for $16 however it requires a 6 gpm of flow. I don't think I come close with 24 2gph drippers.

2) EZ Flow - has anyone had experience with one of these? I have done a lot of searching and I can't find anyone.

3) gravity fed nutrient system at home depot - my understanding is that the neutrients become deluged as it empties, no bueno.

4) water with plain tap water and top feed plants with dry nutrients. Maybe add more nutrients to the soils as well.

5) automate the drip system with plain water. Have a seperate smaller bucket for a strong nutrient mix with a seperate pump and set of drippers, have it come on for short periods of time a couple times a
week.

6) some great, inexpensive fertigation system that I can build or buy for a reasonable price?

Any ideas you have would be greatly appreciated. WhY I really want is something that attaches to the spicket, works well under low water flow/pressure, and holds enough nutrients for 10 + days of watering 18 plants/ drip line. Thanks!
